Private Day Tour to Badaling Great Wall and Juyongguan Great Wall

After morning pickup at your Beijing hotel, travel in a private vehicle to the Badaling Great Wall, located about 45 miles (75 km) north of downtown Beijing. one of the most magnificent sections of the Great Wall around Beijing. This section of the Wall is about 2.3-miles long (3.7 kilometers) and on average 26-feet (8 meters) high. The highest section is wide enough for five horses to ride abreast. Badaling was the earliest part open to the visitors among all the sections of the Great Wall in Beijing. You can hike the Great Wall for two to three hours, or have the option to take cable car up and down (own expense). During winter season, you will see the snow that covers the mountaintop and the Wall. You will be amazed by this beautiful scenery. You will have couple of hours to enjoy the hiking here. After the tour, you will transferred back to your hotel.

After the morning boat ride, enjoy a lunch of regional cuisine at a local restaurant. Continue on to the Juyongguan Great Wall. Juyongguan's Great Wall is the site of an ancient military town which is replete with military installations, watch towers, official residences, temples and other structures. The present pass was initially built during the Ming Dynasty and received much renovation later. You will have couple of hours to enjoy the hike here. After the full-day tour is finished, you will be transferred back to your hotel in downtown Beijing.
