We will leave from Varenna along the promenade of lovers
Leaving Varenna we can admire the walk of the lovers, a short pedestrian path that leads from the Varenna pier to the center of the village; a cantilevered walkway over the water from which you can admire the lake and the mountains.
We will then pass by Villa Cipressi (Heaven's Gate) and the famous gate. Prestigious complex of ancient buildings and beautiful gardens enriched by a magnificent botanical garden, with staircases and terraces that descend to the lake.
Afterwards we will meet the Villa, one of the main historical environmental landscape sites of the territory, thanks also to its privileged position. The complex consists of the Villa itself, now transformed into a Museum is also home to an internationally known Convention Center, and the beautiful Botanical Garden that surrounds it, extending for almost 2 km following the shore of the lake.
We will then equip the lake and head towards Punta Spartivento, the watershed of Lake Como, the extreme tip of the Larian triangle that divides the two branches of the lake. It enjoys a wonderful view towards the north.
Next stop is Bellagio, known for its cobbled streets, elegant buildings and Villa Serbelloni Park, an 18th-century garden terrace overlooking the lake. Nearby, there are the Tower of the Arts, home to exhibitions and shows, and the Basilica of St. James from the Romanesque era. Near the rocky beach of Loppia, there is the Museum of Navigational Instruments, which displays sundials and compasses. With the 4-hour tour you can get off and visit the village.
Descending from Bellagio we can admire the park of Villa Serbelloni
We will pass by the famous Grand Hotel Villa Serbelloni, a 5 star luxury hotel, once also called Castello di Bellagio.
The English gardens of 1815, enriched by sculptures rich in rare and exotic plants, there are ancient trees, camellia hedges, forests of azaleas and giant rhododendrons, stones and monuments, boats and relics of historical and artistic value.
We will then reach the west coast of the Como branch to arrive at Tremezzo, a well-known village full of hotels overlooking Bellagio.
We will then admire Villa Carlotta famous both for the art collections kept inside, and for the vast botanical garden that surrounds it.
Sailing south we will meet the imposing building in an eclectic style between neo-Romanesque and neo-Gothic.
The Gulf of Venus is the suggestive stretch of Lake Lenno, the inlet following the promontory of Lavedo that on its southern summit sees the splendid Villa dal Balbianello
On a peninsula from which you can enjoy enchanted views of the Lake, this elegant and romantic 18th century mansion and its amazing garden have hosted writers and travelers, today you can visit the Gardens and the Villa, in the 4-hour tour you can go down and visit the gardens. We remind you that the purchase of tickets is mandatory and charged to the customer.
Villa la Cassinella is a private residence on the western shore of Lake Como, a few hundred meters from Villa del Balbianello. The whole estate is immersed in large perfectly maintained gardens.
The Villa is a historic residence in Ossuccio on Lake Como.
Ossuccio is a village of pre-Roman origin. In its hamlet of Ospedaletto rises the famous bell tower of the church of Santa Maria Maddalena. in front of the village is the Comacina island
The only island on Lake Como, in its canal hosts, in summer, swimmers who want to cool off with a swim in the lake. It is possible to swim safely. From 2 hours of tour you can swim
We will cross the lake to reach the east coast and the village of Nesso, a village clinging to the steep shores of the lake.
We will then be able to admire the ravine of Nesso, a natural waterfall that in the terminal part is overlooked by the bridge of Civera
The Civera bridge, a Roman bridge rebuilt with a medieval silhouette from which tourists love to dive for incredible shots.
We will then head towards Laglio to admire Villa Oleandra, home of George Clooney.

Amazing 1 hour tour :) It was fast, but that's all the time we had. Lorenzo showed us so much in an hour and we even had time for a little swim!

The experience was fantastic, from beginning to end. Marco was very informative, charming and hospitable. The best view of the town on Lago di Como are from the water, in my opinion, and a once in a lifetime splurge excursion. I do not know all of the operators on the lake, but I cannot imagine anyone doing it much better... And I am not someone to give unearned compliments, so this was a day that was very memorable for me, my wife and daughter... Highly recommended. Thank you for a wonderful and memorable day!

Had a chance to spend the afternoon on a four hour ride around the lake with Stefano. It was truly spectacular. From the charming history of the lake to the insight only a 5th generation resident can share, we had the best of times. Really, 4 hours was about right. We could have rushed to see the whole lake in three with simple drive-bys but the depth and friendship was built with time. Thank you to Hercules (company) and Stefano, our wonderful Captain!

My fiancé and I had the best time on our boat tour with Stefano, one of the highlights of our trip. He picked us up & dropped us off right from our hotel, super easy. Since he grew up on Lake Como, he knows everything about the lake and all of the villas- was so fun hearing the stories and history behind everything we saw. Stefano was our guide, he was flexible from the start, we changed our pickup location to our hotel dock and it was so easy to contact him. The boat was beautiful and Stefano was knowledgeable and entertaining, we especially loved hearing about his local knowledge and family history (they have lived on the lake for 7 generations). He provided great blend of history, local knowledge and a bit of fun anecdotes about celebrities. Bonus - he speaks 7 languages!

This was a great experience! Stefano was a great tour guide who showed us all of the great spots and had additional insight on each place. The boat was beautiful, the drinks were cold and refreshing and we even got to stop and take a dip in the lake. Highly recommend, would also suggest doing the 2 hour tour!
