We were amazed at how Geneva is so beautifully illuminated in December. The guide was friendly and provided local insight into crafts, seasonal foods, etc. We also purchased some handcrafted gifts at the local market. Overall, it was an enjoyable way to experience festive Geneva.
A small Christmas market by the side of lake Geneva Some nice stalls. However not cheap. We went to Chamonix and could get same stuff so much cheaper. Not sure we would go again as so many other places do Christmas markets on a larger scale. But it was friendly safe and we had a good time
Daria was an amazing tour guide. We were very lucky to be in Geneva for the Fete d’Escalade. Before our tour, we had walked around and marveled at all the people in historical costumes, but Daria made the history of Geneva come alive. Cannot recommend her highly enough!
