Its a Historical Landmark situated inside the Massive fort, This place was once the home of the famous bhakti poetess Meerabai. It is also believed, that Rani Padmini organized her self- immolation or jauhar inside this fort.
The Meera Temple, as it is fondly called, was constructed by the then king- Rana Kumbha. Meera- a Rajput princess- was madly in love with Lord Krishna, and she devoted her entire life to him.
Padmini Palace is the palace where Rani Padmini lived after she married Rawal Ratan Singh, the ruler of Mewar Kingdom who ruled between 1302 and 1303 CE. The majestic palace is a historical monument related to the self-sacrifice of Rani Padmini after Chittorgarh was attacked by the Sultan of Delhi, Alauddin Khilji.
The Fateh Prakash Palace was constructed on the orders of Maharana Fateh Singh. He is counted among the finest rulers of Mewar and he reigned from 1885 to 1935. The palace was originally built for conducting royal functions and has been accurately preserved.

I booked a private Chittorgarh tour. I overall enjoyed the tour. My driver, Lalit, was great and very friendly. The guide was also good and definitely felt needed to understand the history of the fort. Giving 4/5 because the tour overview suggested the fort tour would take 3-4 hours but mine took barely 1.5 hours. We covered all the sites listed and I didn't necessarily feel rushed by the guide or anything, but it didn't quite match the description on that end.
Contacted after viewing reviews. Booked a 4-day itinerary including airport pickup and drop. Prompt service and competitive pricing. Driver Vikram Singh was very punctual and also a safe driver. Occasionally, drivers will try and take you to certain shops /local places as they get a 'cut'. He did not indulge in this type of behaviour. Have family visiting the city later on in the year and will definitely use the service for them again.
Dealing with Mr. Karan was easy, and the tour was offered at a reasonable price. The vehicle and driver provided were comfortable and informative throughout the journey. The guide at Chittorgarh Fort shared in-depth knowledge about the rich history of Mewar and even took excellent pictures for us. Highly recommended to everyone!
Very nicely organized , Back office coordination from Rajasthan on wheels was awesome , Guide arranged by Them was also very cordial , he explained all the fort premises in very detail approach , the light and sound show was awesome , Our Driver Mr surendra Singh was very punctual and had thorough knowledge of the place
The trip was amazing, the driver was very friendly and arrived right in time. He also explained a lot about the places and the ruins of the fort.
Great one-day trip . Our Driver Pravin drove us safely. He speaks English well and shared interesting details about what we were passing by. Our guide Rameshwar Das ( hope I wrote the name correctly ) was awesome. He quickly understood that we have some knowledges and are not interested in basic information and he started giving a lot of historical details. I can definitely recommend these company
I've been to Rajasthan a couple of times and have experienced that the culture is as amazing as its people. Lalitji who drove us around was highly professional, always on time, extremely empathetic, reasonably priced and super helpful with getting us to great shops for bargain shopping. Loved the experience and will definitely call them for my next trip. He suggested us the best cultural shows where we watched Rajasthani folk dance. And ate authentic Rajasthani food by the lake.
