After morning pickup from your hotel in Ocho Rios, travel with your private driver east along the north coast highway. Pass through some of the most exclusive communities in Jamaica and catch sight of the Goldeneye resort—once owned by famous people such as the writer Ian Fleming — creator of the James Bond book series, and later, music superstar Bob Marley. About a 2-hour drive from Ocho Rios, enter the valley of the Blue Mountains. See the river and waterfalls that flow from the mountains, and stop regularly for photo ops. Learn about this coffee-producing region, and tour a coffee farm that is surrounded by lush rainforest. Meet the farmer and watch a demonstration about producing Blue Mountain coffee, then sample fresh coffee from the farm. Your driver can personalize the tour to suit your interests, giving you insight into Jamaica's rural communities and wilderness. Your tour ends with drop-off at your Ocho Rios hotel in the afternoon

This tour is not really what I originally expected but still very worth to try if you are interested to get out of the typical tourist area to see real Jamaica town and local’s life. The coffee farm is basically is farm’s house + it’s back hill with some coffee trees and other plants. Everything is family run, hand pick and grow, nothing machined planting and harvesting. You will sit on the farmer’s home to learn very basic coffee knowledge, so don’t expecting too much scientific coffee theory type of thing. But, the whole experiencing is Very Unique, talk to real local farmers, see their home and life, eat lunch they cook, enjoy amazing blue Mountain views. The tour contains a lots of driving and the last 1 hour is very rockey mountain road, our driver is extremely knowledgeable to sharing local cultural and tour information, we learn so much about Jamaica from him and he is very good driver to keep us safe in transfer. So, if you are interested to experience real Jamaica and mountain nature view, this is a tour for you.

We had a private tour guide and our experience was terrific. Sean/Shawn was very respectful and transported us to the activities we had chosen. He helped obtain the tickets for us at each activity and we didn't have to wait in any lines. This is the second time we've hired a private tour guide with Marvin's Paradise Tours. No regrets. I wouldn’t recommend this excursion because it wasn’t worth the drive. All we did was visit Blue Mountain Coffee plant without any stops beforehand to take pics. Our driver was really nice but this was a waste of tome honestly. It took us around 2.5 hrs just for the drive up the mountain. We thought we were going to try a few different coffee plants. When we arrived, we waited around awkwardly expecting them to give us a tour but they weren’t very welcoming. We had to probe them with questions and ended up staying there for a long time because we were waiting for lunch to be ready when we thought we were going somewhere else. Our favorite part was playing with all the cats in the area.

It was really nice to see real farmers and their plantations, they showed us how they prepared the coffee, showed us their garden, they have many fruit/vegetables and of course coffee plantations, goats/pigs, we ate the sugar cane we just got in their garden, and they prepared a delicious meal! Our tour guide mr T was great, very energetic, many informations to share, and he was a very good driver which is a must considering the 2,5h drive including 1h going up on tiny/full of holes/turning roads in the mountains, I would have cried if I had to drive myself! I wish we knew we could have purchase the coffee directly to the guys we met up in the mountains but we didn’t have enough cash Overall it was very unique and great!

Top notch customer service. Very knowledgeable drivers. We went to the Blue Mountains and the roads were very rough, Mr. T. was an amazing driver and he drove us all the way back to Negril. A special thanks to Dalton too, he is a sweetheart. You can't get wrong

Just returned 2hrs ago from a great day out up into the Blue Mountains. Our driver Gregory was brilliant pointing out places of interest on route along with an abundant knowledge of all the fruit trees on our journey up the mountain. The weather had been wet for several days so we saw some amazing waterfalls which made our trip extra special. When at the top we meet Opi who showed us the traditional way the coffee is harvested, peeled, dried and roasted all by hand . After about an hour Gregory drove us back to Ochi Rios stopping for us to take photos and to stop at a local supermarket before arriving for a bite to eat at a local jerk shack which was amazing. Marvyn rang and spoke to us checking we were happy with our tour as the weather up the mountain was very misty which we thought was a lovely touch as theres not much you can do about the weather. The taxi had arrived promptly, was clean and Gregory was great thanks again.

We had a wonderful tour with Gergory. He pointed out many sights and although the weather was a little rainy we could experience the amazing landscape. Visit at the coffee farm was also very interesting, meeting Hopie and walking up to the farm.
