On request in the morning visit to a winery (no wine tasting) or a castle In Tirano you take the panoramic Red Train of Bernina Express Breath-taking 2 hours journey in the Alps Train tickets: about Euro 35 per person, will be bought at Tirano Station. DO NOT BOOK THEM in advance ! Free tickets if the tour shared with another small group Guided visit of Sankt Moritz. The Guide (born in Switzerland) will give you many information about Swiss history and traditions Lunch on your own on the train or in Sankt Moritz Make sure you have your passports valid for border control Comfortable clothes and shoes according to weather forecast

Do not hesitate to book this tour. Giovanni is on time, professional, a historian, a great driver and incredibly charming. We enjoyed Giovanni's company as we headed for our adventure in St. Moritz via the Bernina Train. The drive from Lake Como has beautiful scenery and wineries. We stopped at NERA winery. Giovanni suggested we pick up a nice bottle for the train and then a sandwich at a little shop at the train station. Giovanni made sure that we were settled and happy on the train. He would meet us later and take us to a beautiful view point. The views from the train were breathtaking. Wherever you sit has great views. The ride up through the Alps was smooth and stunning scenery at every turn in the switchbacks. Once we arrived in St. Moritz we had lunch of local fare, Bratwurst and Rostie with caramelized onions. Delicious! This was a trip for our 40th wedding anniversary. Giovanni and his sweet friend in St. Mortiz, together they surprised us with a mini celebration desert and coffee. It was a real "pinch me" moment to have such a thoughtful experience and the time we spent in St. Moritz will never be forgotten! The ride back to Lake Como is a bit long after such an exciting day but it was a great way to talk about the adventure. Giovanni is always at the ready with great stories and every map of the area which offers such great perspective of where you are on the globe. It was great day spent traveling over to Switzerland. The guide was very informative with local history and suggestions. The day was rainy and snowy but the guide made sure to make it a great time.

Fabulous day trip from Como, to St. Moritz via The Bernina Express. Giovanni was awesome, he went above and beyond to ensure that the day ran smoothly and that we all had an amazing day. Cannot recommend this trip with Giovanni enough. He was extremely knowledgeable and always on hand to make sure that we were ok.
