After Tian'anmen Square, you will walk to your next stop, The Forbidden City, known as the "Palace Museum" in modern China, is an iconic cultural landmark situated in the heart of Beijing. Built during the Ming Dynasty in the early 15th century, it served as the imperial palace for over 500 years, housing Chinese emperors and their households. Enclosed within imposing walls and encompassing nearly 180 acres, the Forbidden City is the largest palace complex in the world. It will be around 1.5-2 hours drive to the Great Wall at Mutianyu, which was originally built during the Northern Qi Dynasty and restored in the early Ming Dynasty, offers a tranquil experience. Supervised by Xu Da, a founding general of the Ming Dynasty, its reconstruction stretched from Shanhaiguan to Mutianyu. Upon arrival, admire the magnificent structure and surrounding hills, facing north towards Mongolia. Your guide will lead you to the wall via cable car or chair lift for convenience. Spend 1-2 hours exploring various beacon and watch towers, learning intriguing facts about this remarkable feat of engineering. Descend either by cable car or fun toboggan. Conclude your journey with a transfer back to your hotel( about 1.5-2 hours drive) in Beijing or the airport.

She was also very flexible and adapted plans on short notice based on our preferences, which made everything feel effortless and personalized. The driver was excellent as well — very professional, the car was spotless and comfortable, and everything ran perfectly smoothly. Everyone was incredibly kind and professional throughout the entire experience. It was me and two friends, and Kelly was fluent in both English and Portuguese, which made communication even easier for us. I would recommend this 100%.
