Solomon was a very engaging guide. A student of Cambridge University, he was able to tell us some interesting facts and anecdotes about the famous town. Highly recommended tour!
Fab tour with Mark who educated and entertained us for 2 hours. We have been on many walking tours but this one was a gem and Mark was clearly the reason. We both especially appreciated the discussion about how the university college system works ( we sat down in a church for this ). Mark was amusing and informative and highly recommended.
Mark was a fantastic & entertaining guide. Extremely knowledgeable & engaged with all the group from young children , older people & even our dog, who was also made very welcome. We learnt such a lot about Cambridge & the colleges.
Wonderful private tour with a current student. She provided lots of details about the town and student life.
Did the Cambridge tour with Mark!! Nobody except for me showed up becaues of the weather. What an amazing guide, really enjoyed it! Would recommend it to everyone.
Mark has provided an amazing tour of Cambridge city alongside Kings and Trinity College. Hands down, one of the best tours I have ever had the pleasure of going. Mark did amazing job engaging with my 9 and 12 year old nephews.
I took my two boys to Cambridge to arouse their interest in college life in the UK and so I booked a tour of the university with Mark. It would be an understatement that the tour didn't disappoint. Mark was an absolutely fantastic host - funny, informative and accommodating. He was well prepared and tailored his presentation to my boys' interest in physics and chemistry. We discussed a lot of university history and the college life in general. I would wholeheartedly recommend Mark to anyone who wants to learn more about the Cambridge university.
We were family of four booked online. The tour was conducted by Cambridge’s own students, which is really cool. The free 2 hour tour is in depth enough for the time. The tour guide is friendly and accomodating to all sorts of questions. Overall a nice quick tour of a few colleges which includes Pembroke, trinity and Kings. We also visited Professor Hawkings old accommodation. Really cool.
Our lovely guide Lucy was enthusiastic knowledgeable and very friendly. We were very happy with our 2 hour private tour in her capable hands
Mark was exceptionally professional and truly made our day! From first meeting up with him we knew that he would be informative but we'd also be jesting with him for the full duration of two hours! His knowledge of all things Cambridge was massively insightful and his take on the different colleges was truly enlightening! I personally like the details how women were repressed but came back and took their rightful place within the various colleges! If you want to take in history with a smile then Mark won't hold back! Thank you from two Leeds heathens!
Thank you for such a fantastic review! We’re thrilled to hear you had such an enjoyable two hours with Mark. His mix of deep knowledge, insightful stories, and playful humour really brings Cambridge to life. It’s wonderful that you appreciated the historical details, including the stories of women reclaiming their place in the colleges. We’ll be sure to pass on your kind words to Mark. Thank you again for taking the time to write the review, and we hope to welcome you back to one of our tours soon!
