Positano: Half-Day Amalfi Coast Cruise with Prosecco and Swimming
Description
Going on a half-day boat trip is the perfect way to discover the beauties of the Amalfi Coast. The tour will start at the Positano pier, you will sail with a small group of a maximum of 12 people, towards Praiano where you will meet the Gavitella Bay and Marina di Praia, a picturesque fishing village. Next, you’ll sail to the famous Fiordo di Furore, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The journey will continue passing through Conca dei Marini with its natural arch, and then towards Amalfi and Atrani. During the excursion, you will have the opportunity to make a regenerating stop to swim and snorkel in the crystal-clear waters of the coast by yourself. A wide selection of drinks will be available on board, to be sipped while enjoying the sun.

Itinerary
Leaving with a typical wooden boat from Positano at 09:00 am or 2.0 pm. You will sail with a small group of a maximum of 12 people.
Sailing through Praiano, you will pass by the cove of la Gavitella, and Marina di Praia, a small and typical fishing village.
During this trip, you'll pass by the Fiordo di Furore, the only one on the Amalfi Coast. The Furore Fjord is a dramatic sea gorge on the Amalfi Coast, where a tiny beach hides between towering cliffs and a picturesque bridge spans the ravine above.
While cruising, you will have the chance to admire Conca dei Marini and its Saracens towers. Once a fishermen’s haven, now a peaceful escape with breathtaking views!
The journey will continue passing through Amalfi, a historic maritime republic. Seen from the sea, Amalfi rises like a colorful cascade of houses, nestled between cliffs and kissed by the blue of the Mediterranean. You will have the opportunity to admire the bell tower of the Amalfi Cathedral directly from the sea.
The tour will then continue passing through Atrani with the waterfalls of Marmorata. Atrani is one of the smallest and most charming villages on Italy’s Amalfi Coast, known for its peaceful atmosphere, narrow alleys, and authentic local character.
On the way back to Positano, enjoy a refreshing swim and snorkeling in the crystal-clear coastal waters, with complimentary masks and snorkels for all guests. Please note that a dedicated snorkeling guide is not included; however, the boat captain will provide all necessary instructions from the deck. Throughout the tour, the captain will make several stops for swimming and, thanks to his deep knowledge of the coastline, will recommend the best spots for a truly memorable experience.

This was a highlight of our entire trip. Francesco was absolutely wonderful - very knowledgeable and personable. The trip was perfectly planned with the exact right amount of time to explore Amalfi and enough stops for swimming at beautiful places. The Emerald Grotto was great if you’ve never experienced one but otherwise could be skipped. The restaurant for lunch was in a beautiful setting but was a bit pricey. All in all, well worth it!
Our half day tour was excellent! We were picked up right at La Gavitella, so we did not have to find our own way into Positano. The boat tour was the best way to see the Amalfi coast. We had a small group, personalized experience and several swimming stops in clear, clean water. Sebastian was a very welcoming host and a terrific captain! What an absolute treat this was. We ended up going on a full day excursion for the same price because there wasn't anyone else booked for the half day trip, so they upgraded us. Turned out to be a blessing as we would have missed SO much if we'd only done the half day. Experience couldn't have been more fun. Diving from a boat into the crystal clear waters is an unforgettable memory... The captain in training, Sebastian, needs to have his own boat. He's an absolute master at maneuvering the boat, especially on dockings where there were swells. He's so good with the guests. Kept telling us that his only goal was to make sure we were all happy and having a good time. We would 100% go with these guys again!!

The boat was new and suited to the tour. There were only 10 passengers. Lively music was played for half the tour, and then turned off for the rest. The head onboard was clean and comfortable. All in all it was a good time.

This was exactly what we wanted; a half day on the beautiful water of the Amalfi coast, leisurely sailing along the shoreline to see the stunning views, with a few other tourists and plenty of room to hang out in the sun, a friendly captain who explained what we were seeing at various intervals and took pictures of our family together, a couple of swim breaks, Prosecco and snacks on the front deck, and lots of time to view the exquisite vista of Positano. They picked us up at the marina near us so we didn't have to worry about getting to Positano early in the morning. It will be a favourite memory for us all, thanks to Positano Boats! Their communication in advance of the day was also excellent so we were very confident of what was happening.

Beautiful experience! Just the right amount of time, and glad we went in the morning because it gets hot in the afternoon, even in September. Boat driver was very friendly, and explained historical sights along the way. Halfway through, we got to get out of the boat and go snorkeling. They provided pool noodles and goggles. Clearest water I’ve ever seen, and you’re swimming along with the fish! Very cool experience. We are so happy we decided to book this excursion.

I loved going on the boat around Amalfi! The captain was great, he made sure everyone in the group had a fantastic time. The half day tour for us was perfect because we were able to book other activities in the afternoon. The drinks and snacks provided was great and it was an awesome experience!
