Pompeii Guided Tour From Sorrento Coast

Fantastic trip. Picked up from our hotel and taken to Pompeii where we met an enjoy pompeii agent who informed us where to meet our tour guide. Our tour guide (Salsa?) was incredible, her brought the city to life with his story like information. With only eight people in the group, he was able to tailor the tour to suit us.

The tour guide Frankie was great. The driver that picked us up was courteous but had problems because the schedule for our pick up was changed within an hour of our pickup time and new location was a 18 minute walk from our hotel where we were to meet the driver. They did same to the other family. Changed seemed to be made for the company convinced and didn’t consider the passengers. You might verify they will honor the initial promise of hotel pickup or change groups. After that all went well.

This tour was amazing. They picked us up from our hotel in Sorrento and brought to Pompeii. Franky was our tour guide at Pompeii. He was so knowledgeable. He knew to bring us to certain areas in Pompeii that get busy later in the afternoon first to avoid crowds. He found shade whenever possible. When I asked to view the graffiti created by kids pre eruption, he brought our group to show us even though it wasn’t really part of the tour. Just know you need to “follow Franky”.

Frankie was our tour guide. He was so informative and made it fun learning about the ancient romans. Frankie made our tour a 10/10 experience with his enthusiasm and humor, and always made sure we were kept cool under the shade.

Great!!! We had Frankie as our guide who was not only SO informational but also very funny and entertaining!! It was the perfect duration of time (2 hrs). Make sure to bring an umbrella or hat because it gets very hot!

Fantastic tour, we got picked up bang on time right outside our hotel door in a lovely mini van, then taken to Pompeii where we was introduced to Frankie, who was the BEST tour guide, funny and thoughtful, he kept us out of the crowds and the sun as much as he could and told us the best encounter of what happened before and during the eruption, all in all we had a brilliant experience 'follow Frankie'!!!

Sasa was an excellent guide. He told the story of Pompeii in an engaging way and provided time for photographs throughout the tour. His blend of history and humor made the day enjoyable. We felt that 2-2.5 hours was just the right amount of time to show us all the important sites.

So cool to see and experience. Our guide was Excellent! His name is Sasa and would recommend him to anyone. Would recommend this tour to anyone!

Our tour guide was Frankie, he was absolutely excellent! Highly recommend getting into his tour if you can. He kept things exciting and funny. Shared lots of great insights, showed us incredible aspects of the site and was very very knowledgeable. I highly recommend seeing Pompeii with his guidance!
