After departing Pompeii, continue south along one of the most spectacular coastal roads in the world. The journey unfolds with sweeping views of the Amalfi Coast, where rugged cliffs drop into turquoise waters and pastel villages cling dramatically to the mountainsides. This is the heart of “La Dolce Vita” a stretch of coastline celebrated for its natural beauty, elegant charm, and timeless Mediterranean atmosphere.
Arrive in the iconic cliffside village of Positano, where colorful homes cascade toward the sea in one of Italy’s most photographed landscapes. Enjoy time at leisure to explore winding streets lined with artisan boutiques, relax in seaside cafés, or take in panoramic views over the sea. A short rest stop is made en route to Rome for refreshments and a chance to stretch before continuing the final leg of the journey.

It was an amazing day trip. We only had one full day here and Ion taught us so much about Rome and Italy and the beauties and wonders of it. Such a wonderful day thank you !
We had a great time on the tour . Our guide Jonathon was very informative and happy to answer any questions we had about anything to do with Italy and travelling around the country.
I absolutely loved the guide and driver: Enriqua and Francisco they were so awesome! They made the trip very enjoyable due to the smooth driving (especially because I will often get car sick) and also the fun commentary and good tips for things to do and eat in Rome! 10/10 would recommend. Although I would love and hour or two more in Pompeii to see more, but it was great!!
We had a great time seeing Pompeii and Positano. Our guide Ion was excellent and provided lots of information and a bit of entertainment on the trip as well!
This was a great tour and Flavio our guide was excellent. Very patient when we got lost in Positano and were late back to the shuttle. Pompeii was unbelievable, a must see. Unfortunately the pizza for dinner wasn't great and the shuttle bus drivers drove like they were in a race. Overtaking and tail gating and got very impatient. Ourselves and others were close to vomiting but everything else good.

I loved this tour! I loved our guide and driver Enrrrrica and Francesco. Enrica was knowledgeable and a grandmother figure type taking care of her family. Francesco was a good and safe driver, didn’t get sick at all. The only small thing is that I got motion sickness on the way to Positano. We had to switch from the tour bus to mini vans since the streets were small. The driver (not Francesco) was a little rough on the turns and breaks. I did feel better going back up since it was a different driver. I also wish we had more time in Positano. It was hot the day we had the tour but Enrica made sure to keeps us safe and had useful suggestions for the day. Would recommend if you want to hit these spots with the safety of a tour guide.
Very complete and nice. Marco accompanied us the whole time, very pleasant and cool. Vale gave us the tour of Pompeii, which was very interesting.
It’s a long day but well worth the experience. The time we spent in Pompei was very educational. All our tour guides were wonderful.
We took the day trip with Pompeii, Amalfi Coast and Positano via City Wonders. Our driver Valero and our tour guide Sarah were great!! Sarah was 10/10! Very knowledgeable and great personality, I would highly recommend this trip with Sarah.
