The Polynesian Cultural Center was easily one of the highlights of our trip to Oahu! We spent the entire day there, and every part of the experience was absolutely worth the price. The island villages were beautiful, and all of the cultural presentations and side shows were entertaining, educational, and incredibly well done. The canoe ride was a lot of fun, and the guides were knowledgeable and engaging. The luau was amazing with delicious food and fantastic performances. To top it all off, Ha: Breath of Life was phenomenal. That show alone was worth the price of admission—it was one of the best live performances I’ve ever seen. A special thank you to our tour guide, Anne, who was the sweetest, most considerate, and knowledgeable guide we could have asked for. She made an already incredible experience even better. The staff throughout the park were all extremely knowledgeable, talented, and welcoming. Crowds were managed very well, so despite how popular it is, everything felt organized. The only small downside was that food purchased outside of the luau or buffet was a bit pricey, but that certainly didn’t take away from the experience. If you’re planning to visit, be prepared to spend the whole day there. Wear comfortable shoes, expect to do quite a bit of walking, and be ready for the Hawaiian heat. I would recommend the Polynesian Cultural Center to everyone visiting Oahu. In my opinion, you can’t come to Oahu and skip this experience!

Great food at Gateway Buffet. Everything easy great.
Thank you for your continued support! We’re so happy to hear your return visit was even better and that you enjoyed the friendliness of our student team. Mahalo for visiting again!
It was a beautiful tour. The student guides did an excellent job. The one thing I would suggest is have the ones that have to use scooters be able to be up front with the guides so they are able to hear and see. Have the guides ask the others in the group to recognize this and be mindful of it. I unfortunately had to use a scooter because of my knee and alot that were I the group would walk right in front of me when I would be trying to stay up with the guide to be able to hear and see him. So if they would make that a clear suggestion at the beginning it would be appreciated.
Thank you for your thoughtful feedback. We’re so glad you enjoyed the tour and the efforts of our student guides. We also truly appreciate you sharing your experience regarding accessibility and group awareness. Your suggestion is very helpful, and we will share this feedback with our team as we continue working to improve the experience for all of our guests. Mahalo for taking the time to share this with us!
Absolutely amazing time. Pickup and drop off was very punctual. Best bit was the Tonga show. The whole family had so much fun. Definitely coming back next time.
Thank you for your kind words! We’re happy to hear everything from transportation to the village shows—especially Tonga—made your visit enjoyable for the whole family. We look forward to welcoming you back to continue experiencing the cultures of Polynesia!
You get to experience lots of cultures individually and then they bring them all together in the Ha, Breath of Life show. Amazing! Be sure to read details on the bookings because some come with Center, Dinner, and show included. The one I booked said you could upgrade when you arrived, but the Dinner was already sold out. We did get to add and see the show. There are also hula shows you can book and see, but they have to be booked in advance also. We are Baptist by faith, but took the free tour of Later day Saints and it was amazing. The staff are very kind and do not try to convert you. Beautiful pictures, statues and replica of temple in the visitor center. There is some down time between 5:30 and showtime of 7:30.
