If you have a pirate-obsessed little one, look no further. We booked this cruise as a preschool graduation gift for our nephew. He still has a few more weeks of "magical thinking" left in his system, but we came into the pirate cruise skeptical—then left believers. The cruise surpassed everyone's expectations. As my brother put it: "If you asked [my child] to describe his perfect afternoon, he'd have outlined something exactly like this. Water cannons and an epic battle: yes. Treasure hunt and map-reading: also yes. Crab race: fine, he might not have thought of that one. Freeze dancing, limbo contest and the occasional surge of the Pirates of the Caribbean soundtrack: yes, yes and yes. We would probably have told him 'Buddy, what you're describing doesn't actually exist'. How wrong we were." Our group was in stitches all throughout. This was just incredibly well done—entertaining and well-paced for the little ones. The staff were kind, thoughtful and hilarious. We'll definitely return to check out the spooky pirate cruise this fall. Many thanks—we appreciate you guys!
Pirate Cruise on Father’s Day was a blast! Crew was awesome and made it fun for everyone, even the saltiest of sailors. Adventures and some education with some lobster trap catches. Highly recommend if you have little ones!
I took the Plymouth Pirate Cruise with my 6 year old grand-daughter. We both absolutely loved it. The "pirate" was wonderful, and really engaged the kids. The little boys were going crazy (in a good way). Even a quieter kid like my grand-daughter had a wonderful time. She thought getting sprayed by the pirate was very funny. The crab race was a nice feature. The race was not very exciting, but the kids enjoyed holding the crabs. The captain, first mate and pirate were all super and really knew how to handle children so everyone had the best time. The boat ride itself was lovely.
My grandkids LOVED the pirate cruise. Highly recommend everything about the adventure was tons of fun for the kids. Will be back again
O My grandson loved it. It was just long enough and we loved the water cannons and the pirate in the boat was an incredible sport Very good experience for everyone
My four year old granson loved this experience..All the kids on the ship had a ball. I would hesitate to do this! All the kids had plenty of time on the water canons ... they got wet but not drenched/ and i did not get wet at all A++++++++++++++
Lots of fun ! Kids will.get wet . BRING A TOWEL . Great learning experience for the kids. Hands on approach with crabs was awesome.
5 yr old. With parents. We had a wonderful time. Very entertaining, crew was very interactive . Everyone had so much fun.
The Pirate tour was a great take. The kids (4 and 1) were engaged every minute. Activities were great and included the crew pulling up a lobster pot full of crabs. The crew ensured everone who want to touch or hold a crab could. The encounter with the "pirate" was well done. our 4 year older was enthralled with the water cannons the kids use to fight the pirate. Here too the crew made sure everyone had a signifiacnt time with with the with the water cannons before we started our return to the docks.
