There was a problem with the language. I purchased the trip with a guide in Italian, while our guide spoke English and Spanish, and to have the guide in Italian, you had to use the translation installed on the route. Not very practical, because you either fiddle with your phone or look at the places you went to visit. An excellent rating nonetheless for the guide who did his job well. She did not cause the problem.
Company was very thorough with providing everything you need to know about this excursion. Extra information is available through the link they send. City history is very interesting. Guide Martin was very patient and friendly.
The guide svetzolar Dimitrov an excellent person with a very good experience The trip was well organized with a very good timetable I highly recommend this tour
Vayana was our tour guide and Stanislav was our driver - they were both excellent. She gave a narrative during the ride and she was with us the whole time. She showed us interesting places and gave us explanations of these places. They were patient. Granted it was a long day but well worth it! Plovdiv was amazing, the little forgotten city with storks and graffitis was adorable..
Vayana and the driver(sorry forgot the name) were absolutely superb! The tour was in Spanish but due to some of us speaking only English she also did it in English too! It was very much appreciated. My girlfriend and I enjoyed the tour and would definitely recommend it! Thank you both!
Plovdiv worths the visit, no doubt. Hristo Hanev was great, he went the extra mile to show us everything, and gave us extra time and was always available. One thing I appreciate is that his advices were with no personal interest, no friend restaurant, no trying to sell us something which is hard to find sometimes in tourist companies. Loved his explanations, were easy and friendly. Overall a nice tour. Note that there is nearly six hours of bus in total, be aware of that when you book.
The trip gave me a broad view of Bulgaria outside Sofia. Of course only a first impression, but this was also my first introduction to the country. The tour guide shared his knowledge extensively, in-depth questions were clearly welcome. Yeah, you're on the bus for two hours a few times, but then that's definitely worth it.
Excellent travel companion – highly recommended! Our bus trip was a complete success, to which our tour guide Maria especially contributed. She spoke a very clear and easy-to-understand English so that everyone in our small group could follow without any problems. We particularly liked her pleasant, easy-going manner: The entire tour never seemed stiff or rehearsed, but lively, varied and designed with a lot of flair for the group. Maria has combined interesting information with small anecdotes and always provided a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. The ride itself was excellently organized, and thanks to their competent and sympathetic accompaniment, we felt in good hands at all times. We can recommend this tour – and especially Maria as a travel companion – without restriction. It was a great experience!
It was very comfortable and nice. Clean bus, Wi-Fi and charging. Guide Maria created a very friendly atmosphere :)
Very happy with our visit to Plovdiv with Tranventuria.Very professional guide and who knows how to interest travelers even if the tour was in English.A stop a little before arriving in the second city of Bulgaria and the walking tour. The house of Lamartine and the observatory for a very nice view of the city where one overlooks the Maritza. Finally, visit the cobblestone city center and very modern, with in addition the possibility to attend a concert in the main square of the city. The journey time is about 2 hours on very beautiful roads.
