Plesivica countryside Wine Tasting
Description
Enjoy our wine tasting tour. In less than an hour we will arrive at Plesivica wine road and visit one of the wineries. On our way we will stop in Samobor and see beautiful hills of Plesivica. The guide is done by a local guy that knows all hidden gems of Plesivica, the so called Croatian little "Champagne". In the winery we will have wine tasting and try some some Croatian homemade food.

Visit Samobor old town
Tour of Plesivica county, organised and guided tour by one the established wine producers. Guided tour with tasting of 3 sparkling wines and 2 wines. Tasting is offered together with authentic Croatian organic Croatian bites prepared by the locals. After the tour and tasting, guided visit to the vineyards. On the way back brief visit of Renaissance and Baroque castle Erdody and lake Rakitje.

My mom and I had a great day with Domagoj and his wife Maria exploring the Plesivica wine region and the town of Samobor! Domagoj and Maria were incredibly friendly and accommodating hosts. We felt like we were spending the day with friends right away. The Plesivica country side is absolutely gorgeous and the wine tasting was delicious and personalized. The wine tasting lasted a bit longer than expected so we ended up with limited time but we still very much enjoyed ourselves. If you are looking for a day of visits to multiple wineries or stops in the countryside this might not be the right activity for you but if you are looking for something that feels more personal and is paced a bit slower I would definitely recommend this experience!

Dear Yogi, I am very sorry that this tour did not meet your expectations :( At the beggining of our tour I did mentioned that it is not the best time to visit wineries because they have a lot of work due to the harvest. The winery owners did their best and we stayed there longer than expected. When I asked if you wanted to visit the city of Samobor, you decided to go back to the hotel. As I said, this was the first tour after a 1-year break due to covid. Your comment gave me new strength and will so that the same thing does not happen again to every next guest.
The whole day with Domagoj was fantastic We had a scenic drive through the Croatian countryside and a wonderful stop for coffee and pastry in the quaint town of Samobor. Went into mountains which were extremely beautiful to get to the winery, Kurtalj. The Kurtalf winery was a great experience in itself. The whole family came out to great us (special thanks to Dona !! 😁). The wine is fantastic !! Have been on many wine tours but this was our favorite in any country we have been to including Iraly ,France and Spain. Domagoj is a fantastic and helpful guide who was extremely knowledgeable. And thank you Domagoj for the honor of meeting your family !! We give this tour highest recommendation !!
