Itinerary
The Mura di Pisa are the ancient city walls of Pisa, built in the 12th century to protect the city. Stretching for about 7 kilometers, they offer a unique elevated walkway with panoramic views of Pisa's historic landmarks, including the iconic Leaning Tower.
The Leaning Tower of Pisa is a world-famous architectural marvel, known for its unintended tilt. Completed in the 14th century, this freestanding bell tower is part of the Pisa Cathedral. Standing 56 meters tall, its iconic lean is due to unstable foundation soil.
The Cathedral of Pisa, also known as the Duomo di Pisa, is a stunning example of Romanesque architecture. Built in the 11th century, it features an intricate marble façade, grand arches, and bronze doors. Located in the Piazza dei Miracoli, it forms part of Pisa’s UNESCO World Heritage Site, along with the Leaning Tower and Baptistery.
The Baptistery of Saint John in Pisa is the largest baptistery in Italy, renowned for its elegant Romanesque and Gothic architecture. Completed in the 14th century, it stands in the Piazza dei Miracoli near the Cathedral and Leaning Tower. Its unique dome creates remarkable acoustics, and the interior features a beautiful marble font and a pulpit by Nicola Pisano.
The Camposanto Monumentale, or Monumental Cemetery, in Pisa is a serene and historic burial ground located in the Piazza dei Miracoli. Built in the 13th century, it features a Gothic cloister filled with ornate tombs and ancient Roman sarcophagi. Its walls were once adorned with renowned frescoes, some of which are still visible today.
There are a few more stops along the way, but we’ll keep those as a surprise to make your experience even more special.

One of the best tours I've ever had. I've travelled the world and had many different tours and this was one of my favourites. The guide was engaging and very knowledgeable. Highly recommend. You could tell she was local to the area and had lived there for a while too, which really makes a difference. Fascinating site with so much history attached to it.
Absolutely fantastic tour at Pisa. Tour guide was so knowledgeable. I have done tours all around the world and this was genuinely one of my favourite tours and tour guides. Highly recommend.
Great guide attended us, very didactic. Excellent visit and explanation about the history of the city and the famous inclined tower.
Our guide Alice was good, but worked out of a folder for most of the tour, compared to similar tours we've been on, this was expensive for what it was. It definitely doesn't need 1.5 hours to walk around the square and learn the history. Was nice to learn historical pointers but could've easily been done within an hour.

We hope you had a pleasant stay in Lucerne and that we can welcome you again in the future. Kind regards, Manuel
This was an excellent tour of the square in Pisa. Our guide, Alice, was so enthusiastic about her city and gave us a lot of interesting information. She also recommended local dishes to try. The tour lasted 2 hours and the time went very quickly.
For us this tour was perfect for the amount of time we wanted to spend in the Piazza dei Miracoli. Our guide Fanny talked about all the buildings in the piazza and also included general info about Pisa and its history.
Wonderful guided tour with guide Alice, very entertaining and entertaining, also for our children (14 years and 16 years). It brings history to life and you learn so much about the cathedral and its surroundings that you see it through different eyes afterwards. Clear recommendation, absolutely worth it!
After this beautiful trip through Italy, Pisa is one of my favorite cities, not only for its leaning tower, but also for its history and cuisine. This tour is the perfect activity to truly get to know Pisa.
A lovely tour to learn about the city's history and not just take a nice photo home. Highly recommended for couples because the place is very romantic. I'll come back someday!
