Your adventure to Sandwich Harbor begins with a stop at Walvis Bay Lagoon to spot the flamingos. Let’s continue and drive to the delta of the Kuiseb River passing by the salt flats of Walvis Bay. Sandwich Harbor Lagoon is a Ramsar site and we always try to access it from the beach. It depends on the tides and swell. If this is not possible, we will find a nice spot for an elevated view of the Sandwich Harbor lagoon. We will make several stops to admire the view and take wonderful pictures. Your guide will find you a nice place sheltered from the wind to have a little picnic. Drinks and snacks platter are included. During the tour you may have the chance to observe animals such as black-backed jackal, springbok, oryx, ostrich, fog beetle, seals on the beach and gecko. The Lagoon and the salt pans are home to a wide variety of birds. !!!Always with an experienced and safe guide!!!

Great tour with plenty of sea lions, hundreds of cormorants, and jackals in a photo mood. Fantastic dune surfing and a picnic with a view of Sandwich Harbour.
We have used Viator many times and they've all been great but this one was the best ever! Hennie from Pangaea Tours in Walvis Bay Namibia was outstsnding. His knowledge (4th generation native Namibian)of everything, flora, fauna, all animals, history and everything in between was unbelieveable. This all day tour covered more than we could ever anticipate. Not only that but a really fun guy to be with. His driving skills over the dunes was remarkable and so much fun to see the birds and animals of the desert! Don't miss this tour and ask for Hennie!!
What an unforgettable experience, the view of the ocean from the dunes is just breathtaking. Thanks to our guide for his explanations and the discovery of the surrounding fauna, it was magical.
