Petra and Wadi Rum from Aqaba (Outdoor Activities )

Your English speaking driver will meet you on the dock and transfer you by air-conditioned vehicle for about 1.5 hours to the rose red city of Petra, a must-see in the Middle East. With your English speaking guide walk through the 1.2km-long Siq to reach the city of Petra , passing the remains of Nabataean shrines, water channels, wall carvings and some of the original paving stones. See the magnificent Treasury as you exit the Siq, investigate the Street of Facades, the Theatre, Royal Tombs, Colonnaded Street, Byzantine Church, Winged Lion's Temple, Qasr al Bint, and the Petra Museum. Climb to the Monastery and/or High Place of Sacrifice on your own

Wadi Rum is a protected area covering 720km2 of dramatic desert wilderness in the south of Jordan. See it all in a 3 hour 4WD Jeep Tour. Upon arrival at Wadi Rum village, climb into the back of a 4WD jeep. As you make your way through the canyons and across the vast tracks of red sand, see ancient inscriptions, extraordinarily coloured sand dunes and majestic mountains. During the course of your tour, you have time to walk through one of the picturesque canyons for approx. 45 minutes. At the end of your tour, we will stop at a 5* Bedouin Camp, where you will enjoy a delicious lunch. Take the time to explore the surroundings before returning to the village of Wadi Rum where your driver awaits you. If you want, there will be camels - "ships of the desert" - available for riding (extra cost) from Bedouins out in the heart of the desert or at the campsite.
