Description
Our cage-free experience allows you to SAFELY swim with sharks in their natural environment. You will walk away with a new perspective and appreciation for these beautiful creatures. Photos and Videos are included for free on every tour! We are a Native Hawaiian family owned and operated company rooted in Haleiwa, Hawai'i on the North Shore of O'ahu. A safety diver will escort you into the water where you will be able to safely watch as well as swim with the sharks, and other pelagic creatures. While swimming in the open ocean with sharks and other pelagic creatures, you'll gain a deeper understanding of the ocean and its inhabitants - disposing of the irrational fears and misconceptions of sharks and other ocean creatures. This is a "cage-free" experience where we will be free swimming with sharks for about 30 minutes. No heavy equipment is used. Just us with snorkel gear - so we keep the experience as natural as possible. *Underwater Cameras NOT allowed for safety reasons

While the crew and boat were excellent, I feel $150/person for 24 minutes in the water is a bit steep. I am doing a two tank scuba dive the following day for the same price. We did see two sharks most of the time. Nothing exotic, just a couple of Galapagos sharks. I would NOT do this again.
The coolest thing we did in Hawaii! We had so much fun and the team members taking care of us were fabulous. They even take pictures and videos and send them to you for free at the end of the tour. I felt super safe and had a blast swimming with multiple sharks, fish, and a jelly fish. Our group was lucky enough to see a pod of dolphins on our tour as well! Would highly recommend and will definitely be doing again!
Highly enjoyable, if a little anxious. Didn't need to be though, we had an utterly memorable snorkel with sandbar and galapagos sharks. A dolphin thrown in and sighted a playful humpback whale while on the boat. A friendly, knowledgeable crew. They looked after us, free photos and videos. Family run business, authentic in it's approach, no frills. It does what it says on the tin! As the original trip out of the North Shore these guys truly deserve the reputation they have. Brilliant!
These guys are the absolute best! My daughter and I went snorkeling with the sharks. It was my first time ever snorkeling and I didn’t do very well, but they were right there to take care of me and help me through it, even when I started feeling a bit seasick. No judgment whatsoever just a great crew. And the sharks OMG it was amazing!!! Thank you to Sam and the crew.
We booked this cage-free shark dive to celebrate my daughter’s 21st birthday and were so excited for the experience. From the beginning, the staff was friendly and welcoming. They took the time to go over all the rules and safety instructions before heading out, which we appreciated. Once we were out at sea, it did take quite a while to find the right spot due to water visibility and safety concerns. Although the wait was longer than expected, we understood the importance of making sure conditions were safe before getting in. When we finally began the excursion, we noticed the group size felt a bit too large. While snorkeling, we were often bumping into one another, which took away from the overall experience since we had to constantly be aware of not colliding with others instead of fully enjoying the moment. We were not allowed to bring our own recording devices, but the staff offered to take photos and videos for us. Unfortunately, the majority of the pictures were just of us in snorkel gear, and many of the shark shots either didn’t include us or weren’t great quality. At one point, I had an incredible face-to-face moment with a shark swimming directly toward me — it would have been an amazing shot on my GoPro, but I wasn’t able to capture it. Overall, it wasn’t a terrible experience, and we’re glad we tried it for such a special occasion. However, due to the crowding and disappointment with the photos, it’s not something we would choose to book again.
Safe, educational, and fun activity. From the get go, our hosts felt like family. Vibes were great with a small, intimate group. We got a bonus whale watching tour. The mother whale and her baby were so close we could hear them underwater and blow air. Very cool. Babe got some great pictures of us and loved our fellow Minnesotan!
JUST DO IT!! It was amazing! The guides were so knowledgeable and fun! We felt comfortable and had a blast! If they had had availability on the next tour, I would have gone twice! Just wish it was longer in the water! I was disappointed that I couldn't take my own camera, but it turned out fine. She took beautiful pics for us for free! Can't beat that! If you're apprehensive about getting in the water sans cage, don't be. The sharks are beautiful and have zero interest in you. I was honestly never worried at all. Just do it! You won't be sorry!
I can’t say enough great things about this tour. The boat crew was fantastic. They made us feel comfortable and safe throughout the entire experience. The sharks are so beautiful and graceful. Pictures and videos were shared with us electronically before we left the boat (and were included at no extra cost). I was with 3 young adults (late teens and early 20’s) and we did adventure activities all week - this tour was everyone’s favorite. 10/10 - we will absolutely book this tour again on future visits to Oahu!
Went out with this company on a shark tour in August. Will only base my review on the objective stuff, because obviously the crew can’t control the shark presence on any given tour. The boat is OK and safety precautions are good. In my opinion, that is about where the positives end. 150 bucks for 30 minutes in the water. The captain of the day (Braxton I think his name was) had this weird cool-guy-act that made people uncomfortable and the other two didn’t really say anything at all. You’re not allowed to take your own photos/videos in the water. The crew offers pictures/videos taken by them for free, however, 90% are of course of other people on the boat. Not surprised no one on the boat gave the crew any tips. Overall, would unfortunately not recommend and not go with this company again if I were to come back.
Definitely book with this company! The crew was great! Our boys, 14 and 16 loved it! The crew takes tons of pictures and airdrops them to you right after your trip.
