Itinerary
Our beer bar specializes in local craft beer, wine, and hard cider. The Sac Brew Bike bar is our meeting point for our 2-hour bar tours of Downtown Sacramento. Make sure to arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled tour and have a pint of beer to properly "warm up" before you jump on our 15 seat beer bike and cruise the streets to Sacramento with us!
One of Midtown’s newest beer bars to the scene, Federalist has become known for Beer, Bocce, and Pizza. They have an open aired concept, and like Der Biergarten, are also made from shipping containers which is pretty cool. Not a full bar, so not for you if you’re looking for cocktails. They have 12 beers on draft, 6 of which are locals and 6 regional. Also, their Sangria is refreshing on a hot day, and the lemonade or kombucha is a great non-alcoholic option for anyone not drinking. Bocce ball on the side of the bar is a nice touch! **No particular bar is a guaranteed stop on the tour, as we rotate through 15 different partnering bars and they regularly change. This is one of our bar stops we could make on the pub tour**
Sacramento’s first bar made from shipping containers! Staying true to authentic German Beer Gardens, all outdoors with long tables made for drinking with friends. Nice line up of 32 beers on draft and the selection is largely German, but a few local breweries typically represented. Standouts: Weihenstephaner Vitus for beer and Pretzels with specialty mustard and cheese dipping sauce! **No bar particular bar is a guaranteed stop on the tour, as we rotate through 15 different partnering bars and they regularly change. Every craft beer has a story to tell. At the University of Beer, there are 100 unique stories on tap just waiting to be experienced and shared—the largest draft beer selection in Sacramento. This is truly a beer lover’s paradise. The selection changes daily. As one keg expires, it’s replaced by something completely new, making every visit a unique experience. Can’t decide where to start? Ask one of their expert beer tenders to help customize a flight (four 5 oz glasses) just for you! Come for the beer. Come for the food. Come for the game. Come for the dog-friendly, heated patio. Come join us at the University of Beer and begin your craft beer education today! **No particular bar is a guaranteed stop on the tour, as we rotate through 15 different partnering bars and they regularly change. The design of the Iron Horse Tavern includes vintage touches such as the addition of reclaimed wood and hexagonal floor tile, and a bar with a black anodized steel facing and pounded copper top. There are blown glass light fixtures and a model locomotive perched beneath the antique tin ceiling, a comfortable fireplace, an outdoor patio with bench and table seating for food and drink, and free Wi-Fi. **No particular bar is a guaranteed stop on the tour, as we rotate through 15 different partnering bars and they regularly change. The tour will stop at 2-3 partnering bars where customers will receive a select drink discount with the Sac Brew Bike wrist band. **No particular bar is a guaranteed stop on the tour, as we rotate through 15 different partnering bars and they regularly change. A beautiful bar, with stained glass throughout this old Victorian house. It boasts a full bar, as well as a great draft beer list that guests can read through on the chalk board. You can order at the bar and bring your drink upstairs and sit on the second story balcony. The fries are always a quick tasty fix, but the grilled cheese sandwich is delicious if hankering for something more. Ready to drink and feeling lucky? Ask the bartender about “Beer roulette!” Only $3 for a can of beer that’s just blindly picked out of the ice bin. **No particular bar is a guaranteed stop on the tour, as we rotate through 15 different partnering bars and they regularly change. Streets is a perfect stop if your looking for a laid-back English pub vibe. Equipped with a classic pub bar setup, Streets is furnished with 18 taps of delicious beer, a full bar, full kitchen, plus dart boards and beer pong for a little game action. Is the weather forecast looking perfect for your tour date? Take advantage of Streets awesome patio! Or make this your next Brew Bike stop for satisfying your British Fish & Chips cravings! **No particular bar is a guaranteed stop on the tour, as we rotate through 15 different partnering bars and they regularly change. Karma Brew is a snug watering hole with a fireplace, bar and a few tables. As one reviewer noted, “Think funky European pub with a classy flare.” There are board games, an attractive patio, and a diverse craft beer selection, wine, and American tapas. Attire is casual, and pricing is very affordable. **No particular bar is a guaranteed stop on the tour, as we rotate through 15 different partnering bars and they regularly change. We pride ourselves on providing you with a quality cocktail program that’s approachable for anyone- the cocktail connoisseur or novice drinker. Our cocktail list, updated regularly, is the best in town. That doesn’t stop us from appreciating a quick shot, nice cold beer, or a glass of wine. What a blast! I joined a pedal bar bike tour on Sactown Social Bikes through Sacramento’s cool Midtown and Downtown streets, and it was easily one of the most memorable experiences I’ve had in town. You hop on a big 15‑seat pedal bike with friends, crank up the music, and cruise together between awesome local bars and breweries. The guide kept the energy high, pointed out fun local spots, and made sure everyone was having a great time. Between pedaling, laughing, socializing, and discovering new drinks and food, the whole 2‑hour ride felt like the perfect blend of sightseeing and party vibes. 🌟 Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or just looking for a quirky way to explore Sacramento’s nightlife, this bar bike ride is a total winner. Highly recommend grabbing a group and booking a tour! 🍻🚲✨
My sisters and I had a blast! Definitely recommend this experience. The driver & guide were great and provided many laughs.
Such a fun experience with our kids celebrating our daughter’s 21st birthday!!!! We loved it and our tour guide Maria was amazing!!!! 10 out of 10 recommend!
We had an amazing time on the beer bike tour!!! Paul and Erin were such fun tour hosts. This tour was probably the highlight of our trip to the Sacramento area. Our family was paired with 8 incredible ladies who were all celebrating their 65th birthdays and had been friends since early childhood. We were also celebrating three birthdays. Needless to say we laughed, sang, and celebrated our way through the entire tour. We were still singing when we rolled into the parking lot and ended up staying longer on the bike just to finish Journey's "Don't Stop Believing!" Cheers to Sac Beer Bike for making these memories possible.
So much fun riding through the downtown area. We stopped at a couple of bars along the way that supplied us with a discount on drinks.
We chose Sac brew bike to celebrate my boyfriends 21st birthday this last weekend. 11/10 experience. Our guide Max was awesome!! Our group had an absolute blast. Max was the bomb.com. He was hilarious and kept our group entertained all night. Great experience and definitely will be doing it again!
The ride was excellent. Living in midtown, I see the bikes all over and it was fun and refreshing on a somewhat rainy day to spend time with friends and tour downtown. The driver and host were hospitable and generous with their time! If you're looking for something to do, the Brew Bike is fun afternoon or evening activity!
I went with a group of young women. The stops were great and the peddling was fun. We toured the streets of downtown Sacramento and went into many local bars. The food was great also.
A great time was had by all, and tour guide Sam did a terrific job!! It was nice to have an opportunity to take the kids, since they’d been dying to do the brew bike ever since it was introduced in Sacramento.
Loved it! Progressive Dinner, able to select your music and bring beer/wine on board. Great staff, lots of fun.
