The Best Pasta Experience of Our Lives

This was, without a doubt, one of the highlights of our trip to Italy. Nico welcomed us into his hometown and took us on a fascinating walking tour, sharing its history from the train station all the way to his family’s home, which has been in their family for generations. We learned about their family’s winemaking tradition and even explored the incredible underground tunnel system beneath the houses, where wine was once stored in ancient cellars. It was such a unique and authentic experience. The pasta-making class was fantastic. Nico and his cousin were warm, patient, and passionate teachers. We learned how to make four different types of fresh pasta and chose from four delicious sauces to pair with them. The meal at the end was simply unforgettable. With fresh truffle added on top, it was undoubtedly the best pasta I’ve ever had. If you’re looking for a genuine, family-run Italian experience that combines history, culture, incredible food, and wonderful hospitality, I couldn’t recommend this experience more. Thank you, Nico and your family, for making our honeymoon so memorable! 🇮🇹🍝🍷

Great experience!!

Great experience. We learned about 2 local white wines and pasta making. The guides were great and gave us clear explanations how to make pasta from scratch including 3 different sauces. They cooked our own pasta and enjoyed it with the local wines. Just great. Highly recommended if you enjoy pasta and wine tasting. Frascati is also very charming to get a bit away from the busy Rome.

Great host, pasta and wine in a lovely place

We did this pasta making class in June 2026 and loved it. The host was really knowledgeable and friendly and the pasta we made was delicious. The wine provided from their family vineyard was also great. It was really easy to get to and from Frascati and it was a lovely break from the crowds and heat of Rome. This class is really good value for money and we would definitely recommend it!

Successful evening

A lovely experience. Even though the round was in English, we had a lot of fun and communicated well. It is truly recommended... from now on, we will only have homemade pasta. 😉😘

A highlight of my trip to Rome!

This was a highlight of my trip! I was solo traveling for a few days and wanted something low-key social. I had a great group - 10 Americans of all age ranges. Several of us even went out afterwards together. The instructor (Simone) was amazing. We got a little tour of the town on our walk to the restaurant and also got to explore the family’s bomb shelter / prior winemaking cellar. The experience comes with two 1/2 glasses of wines from the family’s vineyard for tasting, and you can purchase wine by the glass or bottle as well. It was great wine, one DOC and one DOCG. I only wish I’d taken an earlier train to spend some time in the town - it was really cute and a nice change from the crowds in Rome. Super highly recommend this experience! The family nature of it made it feel extra special.

Cooking class in Frescati : From scratch

We had a wonderfull time in Frescati !! It started with a quick tour in the city to discover the history of frescati, a visit of the underground of the city (once used as shelter during WWII), wine tasting and of course a cooking class. It was nice and relaxing, we learnt how to make pasta dought and also famous sauce recipes. It was very easy to come from Rome, only 30 minutes intercity train, and we had the time to spend a very Cosy afternoon in the city after the class. I recommend this activity a 100%, the family was so nice and welcoming !!

Wonderful experience!

Wonderful experience, with a very friendly team, a visit to the caves, tasting, and preparation of handmade pasta! For those arriving in Frascati by train, there is also the option of a short walk to discover a bit of Frascati's history. A beautiful experience!
