Great way to take a break from museums and walking!! Spend some time learning how to make pasta from scratch!! You won't regret it!!
Derek! Thank you for leaving a review! We are estatic to hear that you enjoyed spending some time with us in our kitchen! Rome is wonderful and it's even better with a good meal with friends! Thank you for stopping by and we look forward to seeing you again the next time you are in Italy.
We had a wonderful evening cooking with Chef Luca. He was engaging, knowledgeable and charming with my 9 and 11yr old daughters. We enjoyed the hands on experience and the chance to observe an experienced chef making scrumptious pasta.
Thank you for sharing! We are pleased to hear that you enjoyed making and indulging your very own handmade pasta and tiramisu! We love our chefs and we are glad your family had a great time cooking with Chef Luca! Thank you again for sharing your experience with us! We would love to see you again the next time you are in Rome!
We had the best time learning how to make tiramisu and pasta with Chef Giulio! He was so knowledgeable and made the entire experience fun and enjoyable. We will be back to learn how to make pizza. Thank you, Giulio!!
Hi Regina, Thank you so much for your fantastic review! We’re thrilled to hear you had such a great time learning how to make tiramisu and fresh pasta with Chef Giulio. His passion for Italian cooking and his fun, engaging teaching style truly make the experience special, and he’ll be so happy to hear your kind words. We’re especially glad to hear you’re already planning to come back for a pizza class — we can’t wait to welcome you into the kitchen again for another delicious experience! Our small group cooking class in Rome with Chef Guilio was an unforgettable experience! Guilio was the perfect host—funny, helpful, and incredibly welcoming. He struck the perfect balance between teaching us new techniques and letting us simply enjoy the process. It never felt intimidating—just like cooking and sharing a meal with friends. The recipes we made were absolutely delicious, and thanks to Guilio’s clear guidance, they felt totally doable to recreate at home (which we’re excited to try!). He shared great tips along the way and kept the atmosphere light, fun, and full of laughter. By the end of the evening, it felt less like a class and more like a joyful dinner party with new friends. If you’re looking for an authentic, hands-on, and genuinely fun experience in Rome, don’t miss this class—and definitely ask for Guilio!
Hi Bronwynb967, Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We’re delighted to hear that your cooking class with Chef Giulio was such a memorable and enjoyable experience. It’s great to know you felt welcomed, learned new techniques, and left feeling confident to recreate the recipes at home. Giulio will be thrilled to hear your kind words, and we’d love to welcome you back to our kitchen for another class the next time you’re in Rome! Happy cooking, The InRome Cooking Team
Honestly, would not recommend this experience. We were walked to a different location than the meeting place, which then proceeded to have two separate classes in a very tight space. It was extremely loud, and nearly impossible to actually hear our instructor even when he was directly next to us. The process of the cooking felt rushed, and ultimately the food at the end was a bit undercooked and average tasting at best. We wished we would have saved our money and just went out for a nice dinner becuase we didn’t learn anything and couldn’t hear ourselves think.
Hi Susan, We’re really sorry to hear the class didn’t meet your expectations. Our kitchen is just over 1,180 square feet (110 m²), and we host two chefs with up to nine guests each to keep the experience personal and hands-on. It can get lively at times, but we never want it to feel overwhelming, and we’re sorry it came across that way. The short walk from the meeting point is simply to reach our other cooking school nearby, but we’ll make sure that’s communicated more clearly. After nearly 50 years of running classes, this is the first review of its kind, and we truly value your feedback as we keep refining the experience. Warmest Regards, The InRome Cooking Team
What a fun experience! The staff were amazing. They were so friendly, helpful and fun. Christiana and Jon Luca were the best. They made it seem so easy and the food was delicious. I would highly recommend their class.

We had a fantastic experience at our cooking class. Simon was friendly, knowledgeable, and had us smiling the entire time. Not to mention, the meal he helped us prepare was delightful. Highly recommend this experience to anyone else!
Hi morganb667, Thank you so much for your kind review! We’re delighted to hear you had such a fantastic experience with Chef Simon. He’ll be so happy to know his friendliness and expertise helped make the class both fun and memorable — and that you enjoyed the meal you created together! We truly appreciate your recommendation and hope to cook with you again on your next visit. Many Thanks, The InRome Cooking Team
Fun cooking class with an experienced teacher/chef. We made two kinds of pasta and tiramisu. Nice combination of hands on doing + cooking lesson by the teacher, followed by a lovely dinner. Sparkling wine to start and wine with dinner is included. David was an excellent and patient teacher with us and our table had a wonderful time chatting and getting to know each other (we were all Americans). Highly recommend! Our experience lasted from 5:30-8/8:30 ish.
Thank you so much for the wonderful review, Virginia! We're thrilled to hear how much you enjoyed your time with us – it was truly our pleasure. We can't wait to welcome you back to Rome again soon!
Small, intimate cooking class that was done so wonderfully! The chef really took his time with us and explained the art of pasta making. My husband and I enjoyed making our spaghetti and fettuccine! Also, learning how to make tiramisu was an extra bonus and super easy to make!! Thank you again for this lovely experience!
Ciao Kate, What a lovely message — thank you so much! We’re so glad you and your husband enjoyed the class and had fun diving into the art of pasta making. It’s great to hear the chef’s approach made the experience special (and that the tiramisu was a hit — it really is easier than it looks!). Thanks again for joining us — we’d love to cook with you both again sometime! From Our Kitchen To Yours, The InRome Cooking Team
We had an incredible cooking class last night with the very charming Marco. Marco taught us how to cook two classic pasta dishes and Tiramisu. Would highly recommend! 5*
