If you are considering the Jamaica catamaran tour starting from Montego Bay that includes stops at Margaritaville and Rick’s Café, I recommend fully understanding what the experience entails before booking. The tour is approximately ten hours and is centered heavily around a party atmosphere, with loud music and profanity that some guests may find offensive or degrading. The bus ride is nearly two hours each way, and the music was played at a very high volume throughout much of the trip. Unfortunately, the driver seemed to cater primarily to the party group, making the experience especially unpleasant for those of us seated toward the back of the bus where the speakers played directly in our ears. The stops at Margaritaville and Rick’s Café did not allow enough time for a proper meal. There is no food provided on the boat, so unless you can purchase carryout at one of the stops, you could potentially go nearly eight hours without a substantial meal while consuming alcohol—a combination that is not ideal. I have enjoyed several wonderful excursions during my stay in Jamaica, but unfortunately, I thoroughly regret making this tour my final night. Based on my experience, I would encourage anyone considering this excursion to carefully review what is included and make sure the party atmosphere, music, transportation time, and limited meal opportunities align with their expectations before booking.
The host, Festive, is the best with a fitting name!!! The vibe and energy was fantastic. It was a non-stop party from beginning to end.
It was advertised as adult only on trip advisor but when we got to the departure spot there were children and we were told that adult only days were different to what were advertised. The boat trip was amazing but the pick up venue had very slow service. We ordered food (only chicken wings and fries so it shouldn’t have taken very long) a hour before departure and we ended up having it given to us in a takeaway box to take on the boat. Not ideal as you have to walk through the sea to get to the boat and I wouldn’t think a lot of people would want to eat soggy fries on a moving boat so we ended up throwing the food away.
Hi there thanks for your review, I’m glad you enjoyed your cruise, yes there were 3 under 18 on the boat that day as we had a issues with beach person at the other location and moved the guests to the other location to avoid beach person issues, we do value the happiness of our guests. Again I’m very glad you had a good experience and I will be getting in touch with the restaurant staff to make haste when dealing with cruise guest orders Travel home safe see you next time around
We made a mistake and they gracefully adjusted and that made the amazing cruise immaculate. The staff on the boat were extremely attentive and very fun. My only complaint is it ended but i will be back!!

Very nice experience crew. Hotel pickup on time to and from magaritaville. Snorkeling and trip to Ricks was exceptional. Crew was knowledgeable, informative and experienced.
I never got the experience because i paid my money 290.00 and they stole my money and never picked us up and im truly hurt because i have four kids and i just need this to relax but it never happened and i truly regret that this happened to me because tgat money could have went to my kids.
That mam is a BLATANT LIE, you booked under RIU MONTEGO BAY , we sent you and your party an email and a text message to you the day before the excursion giving you the pick you times and we renamed your hotel RIU MONTEGO BAY AT 11am, none of you responded from the email or the regular text we sent, the morning of the excursion we messaged at least 6 times, saying the driver was there at the lobby he was there for almost 20 mins waiting with other guests in the bus, then you said you were in OCHI RIOS not Montego Bay, and wanted To be picked up from there , that’s a 2.5 hour drive from Montego Bay as you would know when you landed, we Do not pick up from OCHI RIOS, that is on you not us, we did everything we were supposed to, you then had your husband call and say that the driver didn’t pick you up and left you at the hotel, it’s the drivers fault …ANOTHER LIE.. PLEASE IF YOU ARE GOING TO LEAVE A REVIEW AT LEAST ADD THE TRUTH . THE REASON WE EMAIL AND SEND A TEXT TO ALL GUESTS IS SO WE HAVE THE CORRECT INFORMATION FOR THE DRIVERS, if you do not respond then we assume our information YOU have sent us is correct, when you decide to message 20 mins after the pick up time and offer a new hotel that is 2.5 hours away from the original hotel you said you are staying at, and want the driver to come get you , we are not at fault . Other guests were complaining saying they didn’t pay to wait around but we still stayed at the lobby in Montego looking for you
