Somewhat disappointing tour!

Guide was good, very pleasant lady, local and knowledgeable; however food was limited to one pastry (at beginning of tour!), then three slivers of Parmesan cheese, and finally a glass of wine with 4 types of meat and a cube of Parmesan cheese.

Operator response

Thank you for your feedback. We would like to clarify that the tastings included in the tour correspond to what was described: a pastry at the beginning, three slivers of Parmesan cheese, and a glass of wine with four types of meat and a cube of Parmesan cheese. The price you paid includes all applicable commissions and taxes paid to the platform, as well as the guide's fee. We appreciate your understanding and hope you enjoyed the overall experience.

Learn about Parma in two hours.

Our guide was very nice; she took us to visit the different monuments of Parma, we tasted Parmigiano made from milk of different cows, aged 24, 36, and even 80 months, we learned a lot about Parmesan, then we were able to taste different hams and salami, and enjoy a very good white wine, not to mention the very good local pastries. Our guide speaks French very well and explained to us the history of Parma and why the Duchess of Parma had the buildings painted yellow (the rest is for you to discover 😉).

Dessert+Cheese+Wine

We met our guides and they were both lovely! This was a walking food tour with historical details about Parma given along the way. We first stopped at a Pasticceria for the most delicious dessert treat. Next was Parmigiano Reggiano tasting! It was so interesting to hear about the history of the cheese and how it's made. Last stop was wine and prosciutto, absolutely phenomenal

A taste of Parma so sweet

The walking tour was excellent and a lot of fun as it had the right blend of local history and tastings of Parma’s sweets, cheese and cured meats and wines. The guide was so knowledgeable and answered our questions so easily. We bought some meats and cheeses on the tour for dinner that night and they were wonderful.
