Tour was great and very informative. It was nice to have the skip the line tickets and we got right in. No waiting in the long line.
Thank you, Robert! We're so glad skipping the line made such a difference, getting straight in rather than waiting. We really appreciate you sharing this and hope you had a great stay here!
Wonderful tour. Very informative and excellent tour guide. My complaint: Our tour was scheduled for 2:45pm, however when we started the tour we were told that our admission was 3:15pm. The tour guide asked us if we wanted to go to Notre Dame or the Palace to kill the half hour. We went to Notre Dame and even though I enjoyed it, I was annoyed we were starting the tour 1/2 hour later than our tickets calle for. We should have been informed ahead of time.
Thank you, Dion! We're so glad the tour itself came through as informative and well-guided. On the timing: the Sainte-Chapelle entry is always around 30 minutes after the tour begins by design, since we use that time to explore Notre Dame's exterior and the history of the Île de la Cité, which ties directly into the Sainte-Chapelle's own story. It's meant to be part of the experience rather than time to fill, and we take your point that this should be made clear from the very start rather than presented in the moment. Glad you enjoyed Notre Dame regardless, and we'll make sure this is communicated more clearly going forward!
Avi was excellent... so much knowledge, but added some humor. Took questions... spoke clearly. My favorite
Thank you, Robert! We're so glad Avi's mix of knowledge and humour landed so well, and that he took the time to answer your questions clearly throughout. Really appreciate being your favorite, and we'll make sure he sees this!
A really enjoyable tour, that helped our understanding of Sainte-Chappelle. We learned far more from our knowledgeable guide than we could have ever done visiting on our own. She was also really good at giving us context for what we were seeing and helping us to see some of the more important details.
Thank you Sholto! Sainte-Chapelle is breathtaking but it's the context and the details that really bring it to life — those stained glass windows have so many stories to tell. We're so glad Anais helped you see things you'd never have noticed on your own. She'll be delighted to hear this! Hope you had a wonderful time here in Paris.
Amazing! Great guide very patient and answered all our questions. Sainte Chapelle is beautiful and not to be missed.
Hello Judi and thank you! We agree that the Saint-Chapelle is just breathtaking - all the more so when you know the stories that lie behind such exquisite beauty. For such a small place it packs an outsized wallop, every in just so dense with history. We were thrilled to have been able to share all that with you!
This tour’s meeting place was not at the Sainte Chappell, but rather at a site not far away. Julie, our guide, was excellent. Her English was very good. She provided some Paris history along the way.
Hello Melva and thanks for the heads up for other visitors. As indicated on your voucher the meeting point is at our brick and mortar shop nearby, but people sometimes skip over that information, so it's good to have it reiterated. We are so glad you enjoyed Julie's presentation of the exquisite Sainte-Chapelle and all its rich history and stained glass, and some of the history of the capital thrown in for good measure. Thank you for the recommendation and all the stars!
