Excellent private tour for four of us. Our tour guide Gwen was very knowledgeable and did an awesome job!
Our tour guide for Notre Dame was Anthony and he was the best tour guide my wife and I have ever had. He was very knowledgeable of the history, architecture and detailed purpose of this beautifully restored Cathedral. He was patient with all our questions, and did not rush us through the tour. You could just feel he was very passionate about his work and sharing his knowledge of this wonderful Cathedral. He set up viewing the highlights of the tour like a theatrical reveal. It was just breathtaking ! I had toured Notre Dame before the fire and when I stepped inside this time after the restoration it’s hard to describe the amazing difference thanks to the countless workers and artisans. Thank you Anthony!
Guide was extremely personable with lots of great information. She had a true love of the history of the cathedral and surrounding areas
We met our guide, Meghan, at the meeting point which was easy to find. Meghan was delightful! She was personable and professional. We walking the island city and Meghan explained the history of the various buildings and they impacted the history of Paris. She carried a folder that had pictures that amplified the discussion points perfectly. The finale was touring Notre Dame. Meghan was very knowledgeable about the 2019 fire that destroyed a portion on this iconic structure and the restoration work that occurred since that timeel. She also explained various art pieces and described the stories behind the stained glass windows. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour and our time with this wonderful guide!
Started off with the guide being delayed, but that was to our benefit because the guide that showed up gave us a private tour. He was very informative and I would do a tour with him again. My only comment that is negative for the tour company is make sure the guides are early for the tourists that do not know the area.
Patrick our guide was amazing. So knowledgeable and personable. Great at conveying information and it was emotional hearing about the history of the cathedral. Also, facts about the restoration and aspects of so much of the artwork that is throughout. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience!
We learned so much about the history of the church and city! Vivienne was an excellent guide who had the ability to talk with us while sharing important facts about the church and surrounding area.
Adrienne was phenomenal. He was so passionate and excited to share his knowledge with us. When we asked a question, he was like a kid in a candy shop, he was so excited to answer and share his knowledge. As we passed other tours throughout the cathedral, you could tell he was the best.
It’s a beautiful gentle way to see one of the most beautiful buildings in the world. Well worth the effort and time.
Competence, courtesy, punctuality, respect. It is only regrettable that Viator offers very few or no guided tours in French (for French-speaking tourists outside of France, like French Canada).
