This is a "must do" tour of Paris if your are not spending many days here. Our guide Johnny was highly knowledgeable, had many interesting points along our route. Went Monte Marte, the Louvre, Eiffel tower, past Notre Dame. He made sure we had rest points, lunch time etc. Thank you very much!
We had Andrei as our guide and he was absolutely amazing! The route from start to finish was everything you could ask for with a tour of the sites of paris. We stopped at a cafe for coffees and a quick brunch in the middle of the tour and the staff there were so friendly and the food was amazing. Andrei explained everything perfectly from instructions on the metro to even the smallest of details when crossing the busy streets of paris. He gave such great informational insights on all the sites including even the tiniest of details and history of the buildings and streets we passed. I would recommend this tour to anyone going to paris and wanting a nice day out while exploring the history of what paris has to offer!
Guide was very informative, friendly and engaging. Very enjoyable experience. Explained how the train system worked and how to navigate the city. Very helpful.
Andrei was very passionate and had great english. Tour was great just prepare to walk a bit. All in all no complaints.
I traveled with my teenage daughter and chose this tour hoping it would give us a good overview of Paris's main attractions. Unfortunately, it ended up being one of the hottest days in Paris, and our guide, R1, despite claiming years of experience, was extremely disappointing. A great guide knows how to read the group, adapt to circumstances, share engaging stories, and allow time to appreciate the sights. Instead, our guide stuck rigidly to his agenda, spoke so quickly through the headsets that he was difficult to follow, and showed little flexibility throughout the day. I have taken tours through Viator in many countries, and this was one of the worst experiences I have had. Several advertised parts of the itinerary were omitted. Most notably, we never took the funicular to Montmartre as promised and instead climbed the steep steps to Sacré-Cœur in extreme heat. I was genuinely concerned for some of the older participants and younger children in the group. The Louvre visit was equally disappointing. Rather than focusing on its famous paintings, we spent most of our time in sculpture galleries and were rushed through only a couple of rooms of artwork. After lunch, we briefly stopped at Notre-Dame, skipped several landmarks because of time and weather constraints, and then ended the tour in an area close to the Eiffel Tower where we could take a few pictures. Fortunately, we were able to use our Seine cruise tickets on another evening, and that ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. By the end of the day, we were exhausted, frustrated, and felt shortchanged by the experience. If Viator continues to outsource tours to smaller operators, maintaining consistent quality should be a priority. The experience did not live up to the premium price tag!
Our guide Elise was excellent. She was so animated and was full of so much knowledge about everything we saw and visited. She was great with directions and timing. The most difficult part was the initial meeting spot as it changed via email but didn’t change on the TripAdvisor site so we panicked a bit about whether we were going to the right place.
Claire was a phenomenal guide and kept everyone engaged . We had to split into two groups at the louvre - the new guide we had was a sexist, areogant opinionated incredibly liberal person who pushed theor political views on us. This ruined the louvre fornus When we got back to Claire it was back to an awesome experienxe.
Despite me having an hour head start and calling the booking agency explaining to them I was having difficulty finding the location due to language barrier they would not give me even a 10 minute grace to link up with the group. We missed the tour however we managed to find all the locations eventually on our own. I rated 3 stars because it would have been a good tour. Paris is big and not so easy to understand how to get around everything is scattered around. I would recommend the tour because unlike us with a guide you get the History behind what you looking at.
Andrei was great! He was thorough in explaining everything we was very knowledgeable.
Andrei was wonderful and very entertaining. He was knowledgeable and took care of everyone.
