Once inside, your knowledgeable guide ushers you through the extensive subterranean network, created when Parisian leaders undertook the greatest civil engineering project of their time to address the overcrowding in their city's cemeteries. Tour the Catacombs' main tunnels to discover a city of dead beneath the City of Lights and then explore two special access tunnels.

Angel was an exceptional tour guide. It was able to tie in the history of Paris to the history of the catacombs. worthwhile tour.
Leo was such a phenomenal tour guide. After a small snafu with the meeting point, she took us into the catacombs. She knows so much about the catacombs, describing herself as a cataphile. She knows so many little details about the place! It was very memorable. It was super cool to see parts of the catacombs that regular visitors can't see. I would love to explore the catacombs with Leo! She even gave us recs for a nice place to have a drink after the tour.
Our guide was amazing! Friendly, funny and so knowledgeable!! This was number one on my daughter’s wish list and it did not disappoint!!!
Paris was extremely hot when we were here and it felt great down there. All paved so any shoes you’re comfortable walking in are fine. We weren’t cold and despite the online warnings about dress code enforcement we didn’t have that experience; shorts and spaghetti strap tanks were worn. It was very interesting. Lots of stairs at the beginning and end

Leo did an amazing job explaining the history of the catacombs. Our family was mesmerized by the incredible history of the catacombs and how it was so thoughtfully curated.
The catacombs were facinating as was the audio guide I had purchased. However I encountered a negative experience when getting on the line to enter. I had my GetYourGuide vouchers on my phone, but was slightly unfamiliar at first with accessing both vouchers purchased for my husband and I. The person checking us in outside was EXTREMELY IMPOLITE and snotty. It took all of 10 seconds for me to find my vouchers and she made me feel as if I had no right to be there.
Amazing history! We learned so much from our guide, Angel! He explained how they built the Catacombs and why it was created. Amazing tour!
