Great intro to paddle boarding, will definitely be back! Even the bad British weather couldn’t take away from the adventure.
Ha, Paddle boarding is generally wet enough that you don't notice the rain :-)
Fantastic couple of hours spent paddle boarding. Toby was an amazing teacher who helped my son who was having his 1st lesson. The equipment was brilliant and both my son and husband had a great time.
Paddle boarding isnt as easy as it looks! Glad you had a great time, we're just waiting for the National Trust to decide if we're running the sessions again for them next year, I hope so!
I originally booked a two-hour paddleboard session (as I paddleboard regularly), but on arrival, I suggested to my 17-year-old son that we try kayaking instead. The team was more than happy to change our booking, which we really appreciated. We had a fantastic time on the water! The equipment looked brand new, and my son felt very safe and secure throughout. I can’t recommend the company or the location enough – a brilliant experience all round!
Flexability is key! ...and having kayaked myself for 32 years, always happy to start the next generation!
This was a fantastic couple of hours! J was super friendly and really knowledgable. This is my second outing with MobileAdventure and I can’t recommend them enough.
Thanks, always a pleasure to see familiar faces returning :-) We're just waiting for the National Trust to decided if we're running the paddle board sessions again in 2026 - I hope so!
Me and my grandchildren had a great couple of hours paddleboarding for the first time., we had excellent tuition from J who explained all the safety issues before hand so we felt very safe.we would highly recommend this experience.!
Thanks, a really glad that you enjoyed! We're just waiting for the National Trust to decided if we're running the paddle board sessions again in 2026 - I hope so!
Excellent service, swift reply. Good teaching technique and very knowledgeable, not only paddle boarding skills but also local areas. Very fun and enjoyable session.
Thanks so much, and glad that you enjoyed the activity, and learning about the Lakes in general.
My two 15 years old granddaughters had an amazing 3 hours paddle boarding experience and are talking about next year already! Very safe and thorough instruction given to the group of 4 which put non swimmer grandma at ease! Thank you
I think you had the hard job, snoozing on the shore :-) The girls were a pleasure to take out, and would be great to see you all again next year.
Fantastic few hours had on our first attempt at paddle boarding. Our expert guide was Woody. Very patient and understanding. Weather was fantastic blue sky and 20 degrees. Such fun. More difficult than you think to stand up but such good fun trying. Highly recommend to all. Photos taken by Woody and sent on afterwards which is excellent.
Hi, you did have the perfect weather for it, but Paddle Boarding is still not easy! Glad you all enjoyed, and never give up :-)
What a great afternoon! J was a great instructor- really friendly, really helpful, and obviously really knowledgeable. Would highly recommend giving this a go!
J knows his onions! Glad you had a blast in the ghyll :-)
Perfect weather conditions for our group of three older adults to try this activity for the first time, calm water, good equipment, small friendly group, and the added bonus of fabulous views of surrounding fells. Steve was very friendly, encouraging, professional and reassuring, seemed to give everyone the support they needed to get the best out of the session. We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and hope to come again to build up our confidence.
It is harder than the pictures suggest for sure! Glad you enhoyed your time on (and in!) the beautiful Derwent Water.
