Description
Surf two waves on an outrigger canoe! Canoe surfing was once a sport reserved solely for Hawaiian royalty--but now everyone can experience this thrilling ride! The outrigger canoe is one of the only ocean vessels that does not require life jackets for riders, as it is very safe. All abilities are welcome, ages 5+.

- Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller

- A minimum of 3 people required to book. Up to 6 people can ride together.
- If your party is less than 3 (1 to 2 guests), as long as you pay for the minimum of 3, you can book. All bookings are exclusive.
- Non-Swimmers welcome
- Minors must receive legal guardian's approval
- Waiver must be signed
- Bring your own towel and sunscreen
- A minimum age is 5 years old.
- Children at age 12 and under will not be paddling
- There are 4 seats for paddlers, and 2 seats for riders

I think it will be one of my best experience in Hawaii ! Sliding on the waves is such a great feeling! If you don’t know surfing that remains a great alternative !

We had the most amazing outrigger canoe ride with the Waikiki Beach Boys! Everything was perfect, just need more time next time! Beautiful day, kind people, easy to find them! We live on island so all of our visitors will get this experience!

There were difficulties with this experience from start to finish. The company had members of our party sign the same waiver multiple times - they kept losing it. The ride was fun, but extremely brief. A member of the boat was overheard saying, "Well, we gave them two waves, lets cut it short and head in". Will not be doing this again.

What an ADVENTURE!!!! And authentic outrigger canoe ride with us paddling! We left right from the beach in front of our hotel, the Outrigger Waikiki Beach Resort, and the Royal Hawaiian. We got to relax for awhile under a Beach umbrella and then it was time to help push the canoe into the water and hop on in and start paddling! We had three crew members with us - it was a BLAST!! The fun and views of surfing, without having to get in the water (though we did get a little wet) and no worries about balance. The outrigger canoe has the "ama" (the stabilizing float part) which made it smooth and easy...except for the paddling. Very safe (and that's coming from a former Risk Manager). I have no upper arm strength and we had to paddle hard at times and had we done it any longer than our 30-40min, I would definitely have had a blister. It was a beautiful morning (so thankful there was no rain), ocean was calm, and riding in the three waves was exceptional and something I am so glad they captured on video for us so we can truly remember the feeling always!! This is a MUST DO next time you are in Hawaii!

Everyone was so friendly and helpful. The staff explained the process in detail and gave positive feedback while in the canoe. The paddling was easier than I expected.

Fantastic experience. There were only two of us so we had to pay for 3 as they need to put on an extra crew member to help paddle, but it was still well worth the money.
