Very informative and helpful guide to Japanese history and culture. Moderate physical exercise but Okay for a 70 year old.
Fantastic guide. Can't say enough good things about him. A genuinely nice man. Upon reflection it just wasn't the perfect trip for me. Kyoto and Nara are just a better trip. I saw some nice things but there was just too much commuting time. Its really hard to know these things in advance so I appreciated the experience. If you want to see Osaka id reccomend but if time is limited Nara and Kyoto would be better options.
We had the pleasure of spending a day in Osaka with our guide, Emiko, and it was a fantastic experience. Emiko was kind, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable about all the sites we visited. Despite the added challenge of it being a Sunday during Japan’s busy Golden Week—with massive crowds everywhere—Emiko remained calm, composed, and organized throughout the entire day. Thanks to her expertise and planning, we were able to visit a lot of key spots in Osaka despite the limited time. Beyond just guiding us through the sights, Emiko was happy to answer our many questions—not only about the places we saw but also about Japanese culture, daily life, and even her own personal experiences, which really added a warm and human touch to the tour. I especially want to highlight how patient and kind she was with my nine-year-old son, who had a habit of asking many random, unrelated questions throughout the tour. Emiko responded with grace and humor, making him feel engaged and included the entire time. That extra level of care meant a lot to us as parents. If you only have one day to explore Osaka, booking a tour with Emiko is a choice you won’t regret. She made our visit truly memorable!
Great private tour of Osaka! Our tour guide took us to all the major spots of the city. I liked that she gave us some private time as well to wonder on our own. Overall an amazing experience. Would highly recommend
Saw so much in one day. Loved seeing castle and market. Guide was kind, professional and informative. I think we could have skipped final shrine and spent more time in markets.
Our tour guide is very knowledgeable. The castle, the Billikens and the stories behind them are very memorable. The market has so many fresh seafood, BBQ, drinks, and the food is very tasty.
Thank you for joining our tour. We are happy to get 5 stars and great review. We hope you have a lot of memories in Japan.
