This was a drive of six plus hours through a mostly very good highway, with heavy and undisciplined truck traffic. We were fortunate to have an excellent and safe driver! The driver arranged a local guide at Pushkar who took us through the narrow crowded streets to the temple and to the lake. He got us an excellent priest who explained the rituals of the prayers for our ancestors and was so good that we ended up making a significant contribution to the Pushkar Charitable Foundation! Lunch at an off highway restaurant where we had good Rajasthani vegetarian food. The rest rooms were clean!
