You will be picked up from your hotel in Medan about 08.00am to begin your drive along the fascinating route through the jungle to the mountain village of Brastagi in the Karo Highlands, this Journey will take about 2 hours in the car . Spend time in Brastagi between 10am – 11am. In Brastagi you can view two active volcanoes, the Sibayak and the Sinabung. Brastagi was around during the colonial times a famous mountain resort because of its pleasant cool climate. Visit the colorful fruit market Brastagi between 11:15am -11:45am. Brastagi has volcanic fruitful soil which is ideal for growing fruits like passionfruit, mangistan, Solanum Betaceum , oranges and a variety of flowers.
after having lunch , next we heading drive to the traditional village of Dokan to see traditional Karo Dokan houses where people still live. In these traditional houses, named Djambur, 8 families occupy one house. Cattle, pigs and water buffaloes live below the house. You can visit a house and see their way of life.
after explore dokan Village You will drive to Sipisopiso waterfall between 12:40pm – 1:40pm via beautiful rural scenery of the Karo Batak Highlands. . The Sipisopiso is an impressive waterfall flowing into Lake Toba. From here with a short walk you have beautiful views over the northern part of Lake Toba, the largest Crater Lake in South East Asia. You will be on the road back to Medan at 2:40pm arriving back at your accommodation by 5:40pm. * on this site only a view of lake toba from above ( not Visit to lake toba side )

Eko was very knowledgeable and speaks good english. overall, the tour was good but with the title of the tour 'one day tour to explore brastagi high land & lake toba' I expected to go to lake toba, and not view of lake toba from sipisopiso. Especially for the price that was paid.
We were guided by Mr Eko and he was very knowledgeable and friendly. He knew his way around the places we went to and was particularly well versed with the history and traditions of the places which we were very interested in. Great day!
Seeing the traditional homes where the Batak people continue to live was amazing! I loved looking at where they sleep and cook their meals. My guide and driver was wonderful and very concerned with what I was interested in seeing along the way.
Scenic view of Si Piso Piso Waterfall and Lake Toba from hill top . Amazing drive down from Lake Toba view to the lunch venue at a floating restaurant on Lake Toba. Colorful Brastagi Fruit Market was marvellous . Visit to Batak Karo village and Sinabung Volcano was very enjoyable - Well designed and excellent itinerary for this tour package . Not forgetting the knowledgeable tour guide Pak Eko and experienced driver Pak Rafii did an excellent job to take us through and fro the challenging journey safely . A Strongly recommended tour .

Brastagi is a typical hill station like many others in India and Asia. There are Strawberry farms, fruit market and a Buddhist temple. Highlight of visit was to see Sipiso-Piso waterfall. This is magnificent. One can go right down to bottom and behind the fall by stairs. Unfortunately, it was drizzling then, so the stairs were slippery and not advisable.
