Fantastic day all round - a truly beautiful place. Great value for money.

Hello Theresa, Thank you for taking the time to leave your review. We’re thrilled to hear you had a relaxing and memorable experience on our Sip & See day tour! We hope to welcome you onboard again in future. Kind regards, Cassie from SeaLink.
We had lovely tour guides and a great day at kangaroo island. My complaint is that the itinerary wasn’t listed so we didn’t get to see some of the things we really wanted to see. A complete list of stops would have been nice to know before booking. But we did have a great time otherwise. The raptor domaine was the favorite thing and learning about the bees was fascinating.
The tour was terrible. It's a commercial tour. It involves a long car journey and ferry ride, and you don't even see the two or three most famous and beautiful places on the island. The timing was off because we arrived at the ferry terminal at 5:30 pm, and the ferry doesn't leave until 7:30 pm. It's a terrible tour because going to such a remote place and not seeing the typical sights is absurd.
Very interesting and well organized activity. I recommend to discover different productions that the island offers.
Kangaroo Island itself is a beautiful place to visit, but my experience with the ferry was horrible for the following reasons: 1. The ferry width is short causing nausea and vomiting for almost all passengers. 2. The checkin process should be changed as you have to physically be in the counter to collect tickets, this should be done electronically. 3. Only the driver is allowed to drive and board the ferry with the car and rest of the passenger will have to walk in. Its difficult for families with kids and babies specially with rainy weather. 4. The staff who were helping boarding the car were very rude and were shouting at the drivers. 5. The price they are charging for such service is way too high.
Thank you for sharing your experience and feedback, Suman. We’re glad to hear you enjoyed the natural beauty of Kangaroo Island, though we’re truly sorry to learn that your journey with the ferry didn’t meet expectations. We value all feedback, and we’re pleased to let you know that concerns such as vessel stability and the manual check-in process are being addressed with the introduction of our new ferries later this year. These updates aim to enhance passenger comfort and streamline the boarding experience. Regarding your concern about boarding with children in challenging weather, we completely understand how difficult this can be. While current procedures require only the driver to board with the vehicle, we do offer the option for a crew member to assist, allowing families to board together. We encourage passengers needing this assistance to notify staff in advance or at check-in. We’re also very sorry to hear about your interaction with our vehicle loading team. This is not the standard of service we aim to provide, and your feedback has been passed on to the relevant department for review and follow-up. Our team is committed to providing the best possible service while ensuring the safety and comfort of our passengers. Many visitors find that bringing their own vehicle via ferry allows them greater flexibility and value when exploring the island at their own pace. Thank you again for your feedback, and we hope to welcome you aboard again under improved circumstances. Kind Regards, Holly from SeaLink
Fantastic quick trip to kangaroo island with highlight stops. Was a really full on day! Definitely a must visit place. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Excellent company, staff were very friendly, nothing too much, food was great, tour was well organised. Everywhere we went we were greeted by knowledgeable staff and friendly dogs. Even though the day we went was very warm we were not kept waiting in the sun. Ensure to put Kangaroo Island on your bucket list and give this tour a go.

It's great to hear you could tick this beautiful destination off your bucket list and enjoyed a wonderful day with us. We hope to welcome you back in the future! Kind Regards, Holly from SeaLink
I wouldn't say it was terrible, but for the price and the promises made, I was definitely disappointed. I have a milk allergy, so I asked multiple times—well in advance—if there would be safe food options for me or if I should bring my own. I don’t mind bringing my own food, but the booking agent insisted that they regularly accommodate food allergies and that plenty of dairy-free options would be available. However, on the day of the trip, several snack stops were made where others received treats like brownies and ice cream, but nothing was provided for me. (Even just an apple would have made me happy) Lunch was somewhat better, but I still had to repeatedly ask about ingredients, as some items contained milk and no one seemed to have checked. In the end, I managed, but it was stressful. An allergic reaction, especially on an isolated island, isn't just a short-term inconvenience—it affects my health for weeks. The trip itself was okay, but the driver had a very negative attitude. He spent a lot of time talking about all the bad things that had happened on the island and how everything had gone downhill, which wasn’t exactly the uplifting experience I was hoping for. There were also some logistical mix-ups, including people being placed on the wrong buses. As for the itinerary, I was disappointed that we spent most of the time indoors at stops that felt more like shopping opportunities than actual sightseeing. It wasn’t until the end of the day that we finally got to properly enjoy the island’s views. Overall, it was fine, but for the price, I expected a much better experience.
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are sorry to hear of your recent experience with us as we always strive to provide a brilliant customer experience to all of our passengers. Please know, we take your valued feedback seriously. We try to cater for all dietary requirements and apologise for the lack of dairy-free options and the stress this has caused you, especially given your milk allergy. We have raised your concerns with the relevant departments to investigate this matter further and to ensure better communication and care. Additionally, we regret that we fell short of your expectations regarding the driver's attitude, the itinerary and logistical issues. We understand how important is is to have an enjoyable and stress-free experience and we hope we can make this up to you in the future. We would greatly appreciate the opportunity to discuss this further. Can you please email us at customer.care@sealink.com.au with your booking number? This will also assist us in our investigation. We look forward to hearing from you soon. Kind Regards, Holly from SeaLink
I feel like this tour was —overpriced for what was offered—it is a very long day from Adelaide to basically see a bird show (which was good) and a couple of other un memorable sites—we left Adelaide at 6 am and did not return until midnight—if you only have one day to see kangaroo island I would definitely recommend one that goes to the more popular sights.
