One-Day Diving Mini Course - Discover Scuba Diving

We had an amazing experience on this scuba diving tour! Our instructor was excellent — very safe, patient, professional, and a great teacher throughout the entire experience. As beginners, we felt comfortable and well taken care of the whole time. We were able to go to 2 different diving spots, see beautiful fish, and truly enjoy being underwater. One of the best parts was that they also provided us with free underwater pictures, which made the experience even more memorable. Everything was organized, fun, and exciting from start to finish. We had such a great time and would absolutely recommend this experience to anyone visiting Cartagena!

I was completely satisfied with the diving (2 dives) with Buzos de Baru. I am certified, but my friends did the discovery dive, and it was fantastic. Everything was well organized, very safe, and we all had an excellent diving experience. Everything was done to ensure my friends had an excellent first diving experience.

My friend and I visited Cartagena last week and I am Open Water certified while my friend has never been diving. It had been a few years for me, so I didn't mind doing a Discover Scuba class. Tour guide communicated before the trip and our instructor, Andres, was very patient with us. I liked that there were many instructors on our boat so people were able to go in small groups and it felt more personal!

This was way out of our comfort zone but the instructor made it seem easy, kept us feeling safe, and above all made it fun! If you're on the fence about diving, we recommend you take the plunge on this experience. Not to mention the great views and experience underwater in this region!

My son has always had an interest in marine life. We confirmed this on this trip. No doubt a diving certification is in his future. Thanks to the instructors/guides for an amazing experience.

Great experience! This was our first time diving and the instructors did an amazing job teaching us all of the specifics.

I (uncertified diver) went on this with my two friends (advanced open water/nitrox certied) and we all had such an amazing day!! They made it so ridiculously easy to book a dive with an unexperienced diver and experienced divers on the same boat. We did two dives, one at two ship wrecks and one at a reef. There were about 14 of us on the boat, and I was the only one who had never dived, so my day looked a little different than everyone elses. For start, my guide made me feel completely at ease even though I was terrified at first. He was so calm, accommodating, and a great teacher who made me feel so comfortable I was down at 12 meters swimming around the ship within 15 minutes of getting in the water! The pictures and videos he took of me are so high quality and captured how fun and beautiful diving is. He pointed out everything I should look at. My friends who were experienced also had an amazing day, and they loved their divemaster. He had all the info at the end of the day for logging their dive. My divemaster also provided excellent recommendations for where to go to lunch afterwards. 10/10 experience, and if I ever have an opportunity to dive again in Cartagena, I will do with Buzos de Baru! I unfortunately don't remember the names of our divemasters, but we went on Sat morning, April 15 2023!

This was my first time ever scuba diving and I am happy I ended up doing it here. Juan always responded quickly to my queries leading up to the activity, which I appreciated greatly. There is a short online theory to complete before the dives but don't worry it is very easy to understand. The instructor will also cover the basics before you do the dive. On the day of the dives my instructor was Albero and he was a perfect instructor for beginners. He had a calm demeanor which helped put me at ease. I was nervous since it was my first time and having Albero's calm presence helped keep my nerves in check. He checked in frequently during the dives to be sure I was fine. I felt like I was well taken care of by him. He also spoke very good English so I never had to worry about a miscommunication or language barrier. I was very satisfied with the experience. They are very professional here and if you are completely new to diving like I was it's a good place to try it.

Very good adventures, highly recomend very carefull read instruction before scuba diving. Guys full professional. Good quality to price. And pictures took underwater great memories and full of the emotions
