Leave the city behind and experience the true spirit of Moldova in one unforgettable day. Start your morning with an included traditional breakfast and guided museum visit at Safari restaurant. Here you’ll be welcomed by the owners, who will personally guide you through their private museum. Inside, you’ll explore three halls featuring collections of beer mugs, weapons from different eras, and unique candles. ( Depending on availability)
travel to the iconic Orheiul Vechi — Moldova’s most breathtaking natural and historical site. Follow your guide through ancient caves, hilltop viewpoints, and the charming village of Butuceni, where time seems to stand still. Wander past stone houses, friendly locals, and peaceful farm animals as you soak in the authentic countryside atmosphere. You’ll have free time to enjoy lunch at a local restaurant of your choice.
In the afternoon, visit Epoca de Piatră — a one-of-a-kind cave restaurant carved into the rock. Explore its unique interior and, if you wish, enjoy a freshly brewed coffee, which is included in your tour. ( Depending on their schedule)
( optional) As the sun begins to set, you’ll arrive at Epicrama Winery, a cozy family-owned estate overlooking endless vineyards. Sit back with a glass of wine (optional), watch the sky turn gold, and feel the day slow down before heading back to Chișinău. There could be changes in this part of the tour depending on weather conditions and the winery's event schedule.

Good variety and fun staff. The guide was knowledgeable and still left some ‘alone’ time for people to explore on their own. Great for people looking to see alot in a short time.

Moldova is a beautiful country. Asya was absolutely amazing tour guide, very caring and kind. I was travelling with my elderly parents, Sacha the driver picked up us straight from our hotel. There are a lot of stops included within the itinerary, plus local food and tea tastings which were really good. We really enjoyed the tour and would gladly recommend to others who visit Moldova.
Really very nice and suggestive experience. I found myself very well with both the guide (whose name unfortunately I can’t remember) and the owner of the agency who accompanied us during the tour to Old Orhei and Butuceni. The guide was very knowledgeable and explained a lot of interesting things along the way. The owner, speaking Italian, helped me a lot with the translations, since I don't speak very good English, still allowing me to enjoy the tour without difficulty. Excellent organization: punctuality, respect for the schedule and great availability throughout the day. An experience that I absolutely recommend.
I had an absolutely outstanding day trip to Old Orhei with Travel Moldova Agency on 21/01 and cannot recommend it highly enough. My guide, Asya, was truly exceptional and a real credit to her company. She is incredibly friendly, highly knowledgeable, and communicated everything brilliantly. My driver, Sasha, was equally excellent, and I felt completely safe and comfortable throughout the journey. The scenery is breathtaking, the churches wonderfully peaceful, and I learnt so much about Moldovan history and culture. The clifftop monastery, in particular, was spectacular. The food was also lovely – I recommend trying the polenta with sheep’s cheese and sour cream. Coffee at Epoca de Piatra, the cave restaurant, was a unique experience, too. An unforgettable experience from start to finish – highly recommended!
