Super fun tour! Our tour guide Cesar stated he had only worked with the company for 4 weeks but he was amazing! Great attitude and great facts about the history of the island! We were too scared to jump into the cenote, but the water is clear! The atv riding was amazing! The tequila tasting was great, but you need to have a checked bag to bring any back. So sadly we couldn’t buy, if not we would have!
Gizmo is the man! The caverns were so cool and the tequila tasting was a hit with our group. Would recommend to friends and family!
Disappointing. My wife and I were the only travelers on the tour. Guide was a 20 year old boy from Columbia who spoke little English and did not know the area area very well. Car we were transported in initially was a small open vehicle no doors that we had to climb into. Beach was crowed with hard benches.
We are very sorry that your experience was not what you expected. We do not have any Colombian employees, so I am surprised that you actually took the tour with us or that someone else provided the service. Unfortunately, during peak season we have many tourists like you, and there is nothing we can do about it. Our island is a tourist island. Eliot Reyes
Fun and exciting, our guide Gizmo was very helpful friendly and knowledgeable, everything tuned smoothly
Dear guest, Thanks for your nice comments about GIZMO who indeed is amazing. We really enjoyed having you with us and hope to see you back soon Sincerely Alejandra Green
We made some great family memories on this excursion. Kadry was a great tour guide and took some great pictures and video of our family throughout the day and shared them later. My son will never forget this adventure! The tequila and chocolate tastings were delicious. After the ATV portion we were dropped off at a beach resort for a few hours and another representative picked us up promptly as promised and got us back to our ship with plenty of time to spare.
Dear guest, Thanks for your nice comments about KADRY who indeed is amazing. We really enjoyed having you with us and hope to see you back soon Sincerely Alejandra Green
We did not like this experience the quads are very badly maintained my husband and break down and we had to wait 15 min for him to come and change then no visit to the Mayan village because not enough time and the beach chulas where we are drop off and catch tourists with drinks and overpriced food this experience and the worst done during our 3 days of stopover
Nous sommes sincèrement désolés que votre expérience n'ait pas été à la hauteur de vos attentes.
The tourist sounded great on paper. A lot of the rules were changed when we got there. They told us we booked a short tour. We had a pay extra to stay longer. We had to pay extra so we could all be on four wheelers. Everybody showed up to receive a tip, including the maintenance guy for the four wheelers. Felt like a big money grab, but they were friendly. I called Viator after we got back, but the non-English speaking rep had no clue what I was even talking about.
Dear Guest, As the owner of this company, I'm struck by your statement that you were recommended to take a short tour. Who recommended this to you? Furthermore, I find it odd that you mentioned having to pay extra for the motorbikes when your tour includes them. What you paid for was the park entrance fee, which is clearly stated in the tour description, as it's a fee for entering the park, which is managed by the government. I also find it an exaggeration that you mentioned the maintenance staff expected a tip. I will personally investigate this matter and will have to dismiss several people if it turns out they pressured you for tips, as this is not company policy. Finally, I find it strange that you called Viator and they didn't speak English when the company's primary language is English. Thank you for your comments. Elot Reyes
Reyes was the best. Great customer service. The actual ATVs on the other hand could use some work. One pulled to the right the entire time. They could cut out the tequila and chocolate tasting and add more ride time. Wish there had been mud but they couldn't control that. Overall a great excursion.
Dear guest, We appreciate your comments and we will let Reyes know how happy you were with his service, On my side as customer service it was a pleasure to attend all your needs We hope to see you back soon Alejandra
poor coommunication given wrong pickup time and how to find vechilr artivef an hour late but ghst gome husband gave up. No communicstion as to hos to rebook Promised pickup jeep when the finally arrived by unmarked jeep buggy not enough room cor all passengers and driver poor english took to contact management vis whatsapp which only works if you have wifi which we dont have. Will never book with company again
Dear Jennifer, As the owner of the company, I am aware of what happened on your tour and have evidence that you were scheduled to meet at your hotel at 9:20. However, you were waiting from 9:00, which I understand caused you frustration. The instructions were clear. You were already in the car when your husband decided to get out, and that's when you decided to cancel the tour because you were arguing. I am very sorry that not reading your instructions from the beginning caused this. Please let us know if you return to the island so we can gladly compensate you with the tour you canceled. Sincerely Eliot Reyes
Over priced, only 1 stop along the way, no beach. Old ATVs bald tires, shot suspension and bent front frames. Not what I thought I paid for. 236$ then an additional 60$ for 4 people. We thought it was 4 hours, but it was less than 2 hours. Only 1 stop. NOT WORTH IT. Probably get a better deal in person do not pay in advance.
Dear Guest, I apologize in advance if the tour wasn't what you expected. The description states that the tour lasts 4 hours, 2 of which are for the ATV portion. Please also note that the entrance fee to El Cedral is managed by the government. I will personally inspect the vehicles, as you know, machines can sometimes malfunction. Please let me know if you visit the island in the future so I can offer you a personal apology. Sincerely, Eliot Reyes
