What a fantastic way to get off of a cruise ship and spend the morning while waiting for your NYC hotel room!! We had the privilege of having James pick us up without a hitch at the cruise terminal. He's absolutely a fantastic guide and extremely knowledgeable and personable which made our tour really enjoyable. James took us to fun stops to try the locals eats and made every attempt to customize our tour to our interests. He was such a fun guy and also very passionate about educating us about the history of the city and the diverse culture within. Highly recommended. Ask for James!

The 8 people in my group were terribly disappointed in this excursion. The driver, Jose, was very polite and professional, but provided no tour. It felt more like a very expensive extended airport transfer. The only commentary provided was to let us know where we were. When we first got into the shuttle he asked us where we wanted to go. As far as I was concerned the tour outline told us where we were going to go before I ever booked it and I should not have needed to figure that out. Our taxi driver getting us to the cruise was more informative and provided a better tour than we received for the 680 we spent. What a waste of money.

Operator response

We sincerely appreciate you taking the time to share your detailed feedback regarding your pre-cruise excursion. We deeply regret that the experience for you and your group of eight was disappointing and felt more like an expensive airport transfer than a guided tour. This falls far below the quality of service we strive to deliver and the type of experience we aim to provide for our customers. While we are grateful for your recognition of Jose's professionalism as a driver, we are very concerned that he failed to offer a proper guided tour. Our pre-cruise tours are specifically designed to be guided, informative experiences highlighting the city's attractions, and your expectation for the tour to follow the outlined itinerary was entirely justified. It is unacceptable that the driver asked you to plan the itinerary yourself. Your feedback is being taken very seriously, and we have initiated an immediate internal review to determine why this tour did not meet our established standards. The fact that a taxi driver offered a more informative experience underscores the extent of our failure to deliver the value you expected, and for this, we offer our sincerest apologies. Thank you for bringing these issues to our attention, as it enables us to address critical service shortcomings and ensure they do not occur in the future.
