It was a very good and beautiful tour. I took the 8:30 pm tour and the skyline was amazing. The pilot Eddie was also incredible and good at telling about the different things we were seeing throughout the tour.

For the price U pay in advance it should be @ least 45 min. Or if U change ur Helipad location they reduce it by 10 min and its not fair @ all
We are sorry your flight time fell short of expectations. We offer 45 minute sunset flights departing from our location in Linden, NJ but we are unable to offer these same routes from NYC due to rules and regulations.
Our experience with HeliNY Sightseeing was extremely disappointing. The customer service was terrible from start to finish. The staff were rude, disrespectful, and treated us as if we didn’t matter. Instead of helping us, they completely dismissed our concerns and refused to resolve the issue. Our ticket clearly stated that we needed to arrive at 3:00 PM. We followed those instructions exactly and, in fact, arrived even earlier than required. Despite this, the staff wrongly insisted that we were late and completely ignored what was clearly written on our own ticket. To make matters worse, they tried to charge us an additional fee that was never disclosed at the time of booking and was not mentioned anywhere on our ticket. We felt that they were trying to take advantage of the situation instead of providing honest and respectful customer service. The entire experience was extremely unprofessional, disrespectful, and unacceptable. We do not recommend HeliNY Sightseeing to anyone. If you value respectful treatment, transparency, and professionalism, we strongly recommend choosing another company. It is remarkable that you continue insisting on blaming the customer while completely ignoring the fact that our voucher clearly stated that we were supposed to arrive at 3:00 PM. That is exactly the information we followed, and we arrived before that time. If an email sent just a few hours before the activity contained instructions that contradicted the voucher, that reflects a failure in your company’s communication. Customers should not receive conflicting instructions and then be blamed for following the information provided on their reservation. Furthermore, your response continues to ignore the main reason for our review: the way we were treated in person. At no point were we treated with respect, nor was there any genuine attempt to resolve the situation. Instead, we were met with rudeness, and now your company continues to publicly place the blame on us. Our review is not based solely on the timing issue—it reflects our entire experience. We expected professionalism, respect, and a willingness to resolve the situation. Unfortunately, we experienced the exact opposite.

It is important to note that your group not only missed your check-in time, but missed your flight entirely, and failed to read all communications regarding your reservation. It is false to say that this information was not provided, as it was clearly stated underneath your ticket in the "Know Before You Go" section: "Flights departing from NYC at/before 3:30 PM: Check-in is 30 MINUTES before flight time." "Check-in is 30 minutes before your flight time. The heliport is a large gray cement building with a big clock on the front. Please let security know you are flying with Helicopter Flight Services and they will direct you to our staff." While you booked through a third-party, your reservation still receives the same communications as anyone else. Several emails AND text messages were received by the email address and phone number you provided upon booking, clearly outlining our check-in process and check-in time. Here are the exact timestamps of these emails and text messages: Email: Thursday, June 25, 2026 12:25 PM Text: Thursday, June 25, 2026 12:25 PM Email: Thursday, June 25, 2026 2:12 PM The only reason these communications were sent the same day of your reservation was because you had booked earlier that day. Regardless, it is the sole responsibility of the customer to ensure all communications are opened and read in their entirety as you may miss important information. If there was any confusion regarding your reservation, we have a lovely reservations team that could have clarified this for you and answered any questions you may have had. Our team received no such communication. While your flight was scheduled at 3:00 PM, your designated check-in time was 2:30 PM as stated at least five times through emails, texts, and Viator itself. There were, in fact, emails not only sent, but received without issue according to our booking system. The email you received at 12:25 PM clearly states: "Your flight is scheduled for 3:00 PM, so make sure you arrive for check-in: Flights departing from NYC at/before 3:30PM require check-in 30 minutes before flight time." "Late arrivals WILL NOT be accommodated. Please arrive on time to ensure your flight departs as scheduled." In the same email, our rescheduling terms are stated, as well: "LESS THAN 24 HOURS BEFORE FLIGHT: Non-refundable, but may be rescheduled within 12 months of the original purchase date for a $100 per person fee." Not only did our team attempt to reach you via phone regarding your lateness with no answer, attempt to accommodate your late arrival AND missed flight, but offered to waive the rescheduling fees for your booking because we value the customer experience and did, in fact, offer a solution despite the several violations our policies. In the end, your booking was fully refunded regardless. Unfortunately, your group displayed hostility towards our team, which included a threatening message sent to the personal phone of one of our staff members. This behavior is not tolerated at HeliNY, for the sake of our team and other guests. We thank you for your understanding.

It was an unforgettable experience; I was very nervous and struggled for a long time with whether I dared to do it. I can only recommend it to everyone. You don't forget something like that. Thanks also to the pilot; everything was explained very well and flown smoothly.

Oh my god what an experience!!!! It started rather badly because during the flight a passenger unfortunately vomited and being 4 passengers it really ruined our experience except that the team staged it and especially the director wanted to rebook us on the next flight which was much better!!! They were absolutely adorable and also offered us bottles of water, souvenir photos and transfer to the station ... in short a huge THANK YOU to the whole team because thanks to them we keep a wonderful memory we had full eyes and we go to bed grateful for this magnificent experience! A few tips: the place is really far from Manhattan so remember to leave very early and especially book a night flight because the lights and the view are breathtaking!!!! Xoxo

Wow..what about a magnificent experience and a team with a huge kindness that knows how to put at ease. It’s an outstanding tour. Be strategic in how you do it though because most of the tours go up no later than 7:00pm so if you want to see the skyline at night you have to book a tour from November - January.
