Arrive at Omaha Beach, one of the key sites of the D-Day landings. Exploring this historic landmark with your guide, who will bring the events of June 6, 1944, to life. As you walk along the sands, you’ll see commemorative sculptures that pay tribute to the soldiers who sacrificed their lives for freedom. The guide will offer an overview of the significance of Omaha Beach and the part it played in the liberation of Europe during World War II.
Pointe du Hoc is a cliff on the coast of Normandy, France, that was a key strategic point during D-Day in World War II. It lies between Omaha and Utah beaches, and was fortified by the Germans with bunkers and heavy artillery.
After a moving experience at Omaha Beach, the journey continues as you head toward Mont Saint-Michel, a place steeped in history and medieval beauty.
Upon arrival at Mont Saint-Michel, you’ll have free time to enjoy lunch and explore the area. We highly recommend dining at La Salicorne restaurant in La Caserne to try their renowned soufflé omelet, a delicious local specialty. After lunch, immerse yourself in the magic of Mont Saint-Michel as you explore its iconic abbey ( if you choose the option with entrance to the abbey ). Tour was excellent. Long day, but worth it. Note that it does not include stop at the cemetery, which we didn't know. That was the only disappointment.

Well spaced out tour. It is a long day and a long drive however adequate rest breaks were good. Our guide Fernando kept us well informed of the days itinerary . He was also very pleasant and helpful. Our bus driver was also great .
This is a bad tour. It looked great because I can go to Normandy beach and Mont St Michel. However the bus ride all together was like 12 hours. The guide didn’t do anything or say much. So the whole experience was more like a bus transfer to 2 locations. NOT WORTH THE PRICE. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!
I loved this day trip; it was one of the highlights of my time in France. There is plenty of time in Mont-Saint-Michel, but I do wish we had more time at Omaha Beach. There were several monuments we didn’t get to see, and some places I thought we would visit but didn’t. If you’re looking for a more focused World War II experience, I would recommend a different tour. Overall, the trip was great, and Daniela, our tour guide, was very helpful with recommendations on where to go and what to eat. The only reason I didn’t give it five stars was due to some communication issues. I had messaged the tour company beforehand to request front seats because I experience motion sickness, and while we did end up getting them, I never received a response. Additionally, the meeting point instructions were confusing, and when we were unsure of where exactly to meet, no one was available to help clarify.
Daniella was a wonderful guide. She was kind and did a great job with organization and keeping the group moving. The information provided was good to provide context. The 2 stops were excellent. We enjoyed each. unfortunately both were rushed. The timeline of this tour is 14 hours with 9 of them on a bus. Mt St Michel is beautiful. I would have loved another hour but it was a fantastic site. The Normandy D day portion was about 1 hour. We did not see Utah beach as seen in the brochure picture which was disappointing as there is a lot to see there. We did see 2 other locations briefly which were very interesting. All in all a fair way to see both places logistically but go in with clear expectations.

The abbey itself is gorgeous; with great views. It was a little crowded, but manageable. The steps to the abbey and sand along the Normandy beaches are very difficult and not suited for people with physical disabilities that affect walking. The tour is also very long, and not ideal for first-time travelers/those not used to long bus journeys. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly, making for a wonderful experience.
