The information we got from our guide was great. They made us feel very welcomed and she worked well with our bus driver. They were a dynamic duo like Batman and Robin while giving us so much information to learn.

Maja was out instructor and guide. She did a great job there was so much detail and she made it fun and interesting to listen too. I feel like she was very open to question and she was so knowledgeable. I was so happy with how the tour ended up and would for sure do again with her. The way that the visit was timed out was perfect I feel like I got every minute worth. Thank you maja. You were the best and very funny!
Really great tour. A must for anyone interested in World War II history. The meeting point was easy to find (quick metro ride from where we were staying) which I was initially nervous about. The bus ride is long but there is a stop half way (bling coming and going) which helped break it up. The motor coach is very comfortable. John was our guide and he was excellent. He kept the tour on time and gave us so much information. We stopped at a restaurant and choices were fish, chicken or pizza. Our fish was a tad overcooked but the cream sauce was really good as were the fries. The cider was fine. Apple tarte dessert was tasty too. One member of our group was dairy free and they left off the sauce and gave some sorbet to accommodate. Small piece of advice: check the weather. It was quite chilly by the water with the wind so even for an august day long pants and long sleeves was quite comfortable. All in all, we had a great time. Makes you very much appreciate the sacrifice so many made all those years ago.
I knew this was already going to be an amazing part of my trip to france, but with the help of tour guide, "Sam", helped this easily be the highlight of my trip. He is very overqualified and extremely passionate about the subject at hand, and because of this possibly one of the best tour guides I've ever met in my entire life. Sam is the best tour guide ever!!! The places we went on the trip too hit all the major landmarks I wanted to go to and me and my family were impressed by the quality of what we experienced. 6/5 stars, with an extra star bonus for Sam!

Sam, our guide, was extremely knowledgeable and very thorough. He was very good at keeping the group together and on schedule. Normandy is a huge subject with so many dates, complicated timelines, and historical information which Sam easily tied together in a way that we could follow without being overwhelmed. He knows the subject of WWII in depth—all the historical figures, the politics, the various countries involved. Even better, he makes the information relevant and interesting for all ages. Being able to actually visit the sites where so much history was made, where great sacrifices were made by so many young men—so many Americans—was deeply moving. Well worth a long day and a long bus ride outside of Paris.
