We had a great time on the Pizza and Beer tour. Pizza and beer were both delicious and Bill (our tour guide) was fun and very knowledgeable!
Hi there, We're so happy you enjoyed one of our favorite tours in NYC! Thanks so much for sharing these kind words.
I’ve done many food tours with Sidewalk Food Tours. Today I did the West Village, and the tour guide Ross was super. We really enjoyed our day with him. He’s full of NYC knowledge.
I had such an enjoyable experience on the West Village food tour with Jack! Even if you’ve already visited some of these iconic food spots, Jack brings an entirely new perspective that goes far beyond just the food. His storytelling is captivating, and he brings a natural warmth and charisma that makes the tour feel personal and memorable. You come away not just with a full stomach, but with a deeper appreciation for the neighborhood and the city itself. I’d follow Jack on any other tour in a heartbeat, so impressed by him!
Ross was great, very knowledgeable and a great conversationalist. Learnt lots about the neighborhood and some fabulous food stops. Highly recommend, thank you
This was a fun food and walking tour! Lydia asked us how much history we wanted as we walked around and she gave us just the right amount. She knew the answers to all our questions and we really enjoyed learning about the history and personalities of the area. Meeting Gary of the Bleeker Street Pizza family was a highlight. Not only was the pizza superb, but he was charming. I appreciated that we went to several food establishments (bakery, restaurant, deli) that had been in the same family for generations. My favorite stop was definitely the pizza. A second favorite was the Belgian french fries with multiple sauces - especially the rosemary sauce! Lydia was a knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide and we really enjoyed our time with her.
Ross did a great job with the tour. He is very knowledgeable on the history of the area and even had some great personal stories to add. We enjoyed the selection of foods and it was just enough to make for a large lunch accumulatively. We highly recommend this tour!
A great way to mix trying different food with learning about the neighbourhood. Meg shared heaps of information and was great with answering the many questions our son had. We enjoyed looking inside the different shops and meeting with one of the shop owners and hearing stories including celebrities who visit his shop. A lovely way to spend the morning!
Jack was a great tour guide! He gave fun filled facts about points of interest along the tour route with great stops for tasty food.
Hearing about the history of the neighborhood! That, combined with the food tour made for a very enjoyable experience. Our guide was interesting, informative, and engaging!
Ross was an outstanding guide through both the history of the West Village and a beautifully curated selection of food. Everyone enjoyed his expertise.
