Juliet was the tour guide for our Voodoo Tour. We had two teens and an 11 year old in our group. We all enjoyed Juliet and the she was so knowledgeable and kept us fully engaged the whole tour! If you're in New Orleans it is absolutely a great way to spend a few hours! Definitely worth the cost of a ticket and a few hours!!
I was looking forward to learning more about voodoo history and culture, but this tour was not that. This was the most confusing and uninformative tour I have ever been on. The guide did not speak to us as we walked from one location to the next. We heard a total of four stories and there was no clear connection between them. On multiple occasions, the guide was side tracked by other patron questions and never spoke about how any of it connected to voodoo history at all. On one occasion I had to help keep the guide on track in her own story. None of it was clear and was a waste of an hour and a half.
Julia was a wealth of information, and accurately introduced voodoo to us, explaining its history, current usage, and dispelling the perceived societal myths that the uninformed hold as common knowledge. Absolutely unbelievable!
Kristy was a good tour guide. Showed photos of ghosts, which were amazing and which i have never seen before. Talked a bit abt vampires (incl stuff w prostitutes coming from france), but more abt interwiew w a vampire movie.
Very interesting tour. Didn’t know much about Voodoo before the tour. Juliet our guide was very knowledgeable and lovely. I learned a lot about how the religion developed in the melting pot of cultures in New Orleans etc. It really is a lecture. Exactly what I was looking for. Would recommend taking the tour early in your stay as there are so many things to look out for now with the added knowledge.
Our tour guide was very eloquent and knowledgeable - this is not a shock horror scary tour but one that informs about the voodoo practices ad its history
The tour was very informative, full of historical facts and a few legends. Our guide was knowledgeable but also animated and interesting. We all loved it, even my kids who are in their 20’s. If you like history, this is a tour for you.
V was fantastic! She was entertaining, full of character and knowledge. Made our experience very interesting, learned a lot as well as had a good fun walking around beautiful streets of French quarter 🤩
Very enjoyable ans informative experience 👌 the tour guide was knowledgeable and flexible as well as personable! 10 out of 10!
It was an average tour. Nothing spectacular. It wasn't exciting or scary even though it was an adult only tour; I'm not sure why.
