Itinerary
Travel along the Mississippi River and arrive at the departure location in Marrero, a 35 minute drive outside of New Orleans. You will be introduced to your captain and briefed quickly on procedure inside of the Airboat. Once everyone in the group is prepared to take off you captain will rev the engine. This particular airport is powered by a 454 Chevy Engine that's capable of accelerating to speeds as high as 35 miles per hour. The boat is propelled by a large fan behind the boat which can deliver wind speeds of over 200 miles per hour. This tour is fast and loud! Your tour guide will take you around the swamp and make frequent stops for you to have encounters with the wildlife. Chances are you'll probably have some reptilian visitors. The alligators have no problems making their way to the side of the boat and showing off for the visitors. After the tour of the swamp is complete you will be returned to the original departure location to make your way back to New Orleans.

Absolutely awesome experience. The guide was fabulous, very knowledgeable.Well, worth the money, so much fun
This swamp tour was amazing. Our guide Dewey was very informative and welcoming. He made sure that our safety was assured and that we had a fun time. We got to see 6+ gators of different sizes, birds and the beautiful landscape of the bayou. The boat ride itself was smooth. We got to ride slow and bask in the ambiance and we got to ride fast in different parts too. It was truly a memorable experience and I would recommend this to anyone who has never been.
Was great. Saw gators. The guide was spectacular and full of knowledge on plants, animals, area and history.
this is a must do activity while you are in the New Orleans area. I’ve been on this type of tour a couple of times and it never disappoints.
Ian, our airboat guide, made the trip both memorable and informative. He made several stops along the way to share interesting facts about the swamp and its ecosystem. The most exciting part of the tour was watching him interact with the alligators. He was able to get remarkably close to them, even touching some of them, and demonstrated how they are fed marshmallows. It was a unique experience that made the tour both entertaining and educational.
The tour was incredible. Our guide, Captain Bep-Pop, was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about alligators. Even the gators adored him and seemed to be visiting an old friend.
We took the small group airboat tour with Captain B Bop. It was a highlight of our trip, Captain B Bop was entertaining, funny and informative. He intertwined conservation messages throughout the tour. We thoroughly enjoyed it!
Request Bobby as your guide and your experience will be incredible. Lots of extras and he rarely spent more than a few minutes at a time in the captains chair. Was always stopping and explaining/showing the different wildlife and has named several of the gators.
Bobby was our tour guide, and he was incredible. We learned so much about the wild life and habitat. He was engaging and truly loved his job and the animals. One of the best experiences I've ever had on a vacation...10 out of 10!
Captain Dewey brought us on an amazing swamp tour. The smaller fan boat makes for a great experience and we were able to go places the larger boat tours are unable to reach. Our guide had tons of knowledge to share and brought us to many very large (10ft) gators! The swamp was a magical place and we would highly recommend this tour.
