After arriving in Hohenschwangau (the village below Neuschwanstein Castle), you can access our specially designed interactive map on your smartphone. The map will guide you on a scenic self-guided walk from the village to the castle entrance.
After having collected your original castle entry tickets from our shop, Royal Gifts & Treasures, located inside Füssen Train Station (Bahnhofstraße 12, 87629 Füssen) 90 MINUTES BEFORE YOUR BOOKED STARTING TIME you begin your independent journey to Neuschwanstein Castle. To ensure you arrive at the castle on time, please allow sufficient time for travel from Füssen to Hohenschwangau (approx 30 min) and for the 30–40 minute uphill walk from the village to the castle entrance.

It’s a must see. That being said, the tour is quite short (30min) and the tour guides are rather rude. Still, a must see !
This ticket was just a resell of the official tickets with a big mark up. Seems like they might just buy a bunch of the official tickets and then resell them. Book early and avoid these types or predatory tactics. The actual experience with the castle was great.
