Neoclassical Paris Architecture 2-Hour Private Walking Tour

Description
Have you ever thought of Paris as of a copy of another, older place? While being the most beautiful city in the world it is modeled after another, much older city. This private guided walking tour of neoclassical Paris takes you through an area that changed dramatically in the years prior to the French Revolution and makes you understand how the city of Paris is a reflection of the city of Rome. Explore the strict and sober elegance of the neoclassical style at Palais Royal, the Tuileries, the Cour Carré and other important sites.

We had such a wonderful tour with Mila! She was easy to understand, friendly and very knowledgeable. We really enjoyed how much she brought art, architecture, history and culture together.
Our tour was fantastic! We learned so much and saw things we would definitely not have seen otherwise. We obtained an understanding of how architecture aligns with the history of the French nation.
Another great experience with Boris after our tour with him in Rodin's museum! We've discovered the hidden beauty of Paris we've never seen before and its great history, thanks to our excellent and knowledgeable guide! I do recommend this tour, don't miss it!
Thanks for the kind review, and thanks again for taking more than one of our tours. I look forward to seeing you again. Kind regards, Boris, Paris in person private tours
Loved the tour! we learnt so much not only about the architecture but context of history and art. Melissa, the art historian, was spectacular!
hi there, Thanks for the kind words. Indeed Neoclassical Paris is one of the more interesting tours that we do, while not being one of the most popular ones. We are therefore always happy to see it booked, and we always make sure we do our best, knowing that people making the booking are special and wish to really learn about the city. You did not disappoint - Milica was very happy to have you as guests and has enjoyed your questions and commentaries. We both look forward to having you as guests again. Dunja Resanovic, a PhD candidate in Urban History, was my tour guide. She took me through key sections of downtown Paris, showing me changes in French architecture during the Second Empire (1850's- 1870), and taught me the background and history of the re-design of Paris into a global capital. I had no previous background in either art or architecture, but she made it fascinating and even took me "backstage" and behind closed doors to see little known gems. We had so much fun that we actually went far beyond the scheduled 2 hours! I recommend this tour (and Dunja) to anyone.
hi there, thanks for the kind words and thanks for taking this rare gem of a tour, indeed one of our most cherished ones. Dunya is a great guide all around, and she especially shines in this particular topic, so you were very fortunate to have had her. I congratulate your fine taste in tour choice and I do hope to have you as a guest again soon. Kind regards, Boris, Paris in person private tours
Fantastic guide...history as well as architecture! She has vast knowledge on the subject and art! Would do it again.
hi there, Thanks for the kind words - indeed we are happy to have Dunya as a part of the team. Both her and I hope to have you as guests again. Kind regards, Boris, Paris in person private tours
Boris was very knowledgeable and made the tour fun. My daughter and I took the tour and we both enjoyed it very much. He made the information easy to understand and asked questions to get us thinking. I would recommend this tour if you have an interest in historical architecture.
hi there, Thanks for the kind words and thanks again for taking this tour. It is one of our favorite tour that deal with a historically important yet underexplored facet of Paris. Props to you for curiosity in the subject matter, and looking forward to having you as a client again. Kind regards, Boris, Paris in person private tours
