Itinerary
Located at the summit of Mount Inasa, this observatory offers a stunning 360-degree panoramic view of Nagasaki City, its harbor, and surrounding landscapes at 333 meters above sea level. Visitors can enjoy the scenery from an open-air observation deck.
In Nagasaki Peace Park there is a statue symbolizes the love of God and the mercy of Buddha, wishing for the spirit of the atomic bomb victims and eternal peace. It said that the right hand pointing to heaven, and the left hand shows "peace" (for the future of Nagasaki). The face is neither a god nor a Buddha but a lightly closed eyes and quietly praying over the religion over the relief of the souls of the war victims of 70,000 abundant war victims.
The history of the atomic bombing, including the tragedy, the state of Nagasaki's reconstruction, the history of nuclear weapons development, and the desire for peace without nuclear weapons are displayed in an easy-to-understand way in this museum.
Lunch is not included in this tour. Therefore, we ask about dietary restrictions and allergies at the time of booking and inquire about your preferred cuisine. On the day of the tour, the local guide will take you to a restaurant that meets your preferences.
We will guide you to places with a typical Nagasaki atmosphere.
Must visit place in Nagasaki! This is the one that transplanted and restored the six Meiji period Western-style buildings that were scattered around the city, with the old grabber houses, former ringer houses, and old ortho-houses of the designated national important cultural assets at the core. It is familiar to many people as a foreign tourist attraction, more than 1 million tourists a year I am visiting.
Built in 1864, Oura Catholic Church is Japan's oldest existing wooden church and a designated National Treasure. Located near Glover Garden, this Gothic-style structure was constructed by French missionaries and dedicated to the 26 Christian martyrs of Nagasaki. It serves as a symbol of Japan's Christian heritage and attracts visitors for its historical significance and serene atmosphere.

A wonderfully thoughtful itinerary and a tour guide (Kat) who js outstanding. A journey through history of devastation to resilience and, ultimately, recovery.
Tour of Nagasaki was amazing yet profoundly sad. Our tour guide CAMI was wonderful. Best tour and definitely BEST TOUR GUIDE in our group of 8's 14 day journey through Japan. Thank You CAMI for your knowledge, patience with our group and personal touch to each site we visited. My trust in you was confirmed when you told me you met Keith Richards from The Rolling Stones! 😁 As Americans, we greatly apologize the horrors our country inflicted upon your people. Peace and forgiveness.
The tour included Atomic Bomb Museum, Peace Garden, Ground Zero, Glover Garden, Nagasaki Ropeway and Catholic Cathedral. Our guide was excellent and very informative
Hi Craig, Thank you so much for picking our guided tour for your day trip in Nagasaki! We are thrilled to hear that you loved the itinerary and enjoyed learning from our guide. Providing a great experience is what we aim for, and we’re so glad we could make your trip special.
If you do the same thing on your own is very cheap . The guide was a nice lady but it was the first experience as a guide. Don’t know the history, the company only taught her very basic things. Not her fault. I paid over $400.00 US dollars. The tour guide English was very poor . I think that Viator should refund at least part of the money paid.
Thank you for providing your valuable feedback regarding your recent tour. We sincerely apologize for the disappointment caused by the guide’s level of knowledge and English proficiency. Based on your report, the guide in question will be required to complete additional training before resuming their duties. We are committed to taking the necessary steps to improve our guides’ skills and the overall quality of our tours. Thank you again for bringing this matter to our attention.
We had a wonderful experience touring Nagasaki with our guide. She was incredibly flexible and adapted the whole day seamlessly around the rain, which made a big difference in how much we enjoyed the city. Her English was excellent, making everything easy to follow and engaging, and she shared great context throughout the tour. She also took us to a fantastic sushi restaurant that ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. A thoughtful, professional guide who clearly cares about her guests. I would highly recommend her.
Five stars is not enough stars for how happy we were with our beautiful guide Aya! She showed us all the beautiful places in Nagasaki, adjusted the timetable to suit and looked after us so well!
Our guide and driver were extremely knowledgeable and helpful. We had a great day.
If you want a totally customized tour this tour is for you. Our Fabulous tour guide Kats with his amazing driver Mr Omizu, made our day totally enjoyable and at our pace. Nothing was too much trouble. So very professional and polite. Would highly recommend due to the amazing service from our guide and driver. Thankyou for a great day.
Moe was fantastic. Got us to our locations before the crowds and brought the message home with stories about her own family’s history in this area. We asked for a sushi lunch and she picked an amazing restaurant. Book this tour, you won’t be sorry.
Fantastic tour guide and tour!! Our tour guide was very informative of the sites. He grew up in Nagasaki and his parents survived the bomb and aftermath. He shared so much of his city’s rich history. We learned much about the Catholic community
