Local tour guide will pick you up from your Beijing downtown hotel lobby at around 6:30 - 8:00 am based on hotel location. It takes approx. 1.5 hours driving from the downtown area to Mutianyu Great Wall. Your English-speaking tour guide will give you an explication of the Great Wall and its related history and culture on the way. Upon arrival, you will firstly have a short visit of Jade Carving Factory to learn Chinese jade culture and see the unique carving craft. Then you may hike up or take cable car at your own expense to explore the beauty of Great Wall, take some perfect pictures, admire the tensely distributed watchtowers, view the stunning natural scenery, and have around 4 hours free time at Mutianyu Great Wall. To leave you enough time on the Great Wall, lunch is excluded in this tour, you may bring bottled water and snack. Later at around 14:00, rejoin the group and have a relaxing transfer back to your hotel, the Mutianyu Great Wall day tour concludes.
