Its cold in the Ice Cave and very slippery. Lucerne was very nice and an hour may be quick but you see what you want.
This trip was booked via GetYourGuide, and the operator was Best of Switzerland Tours. We had initially booked a coach trip from Zurich to Lucerne and Engelberg, but changed it to include Mount Titlis in Engelberg by paying a supplementary fee. The trip was excellent. Our guides, Madeline and Gonzalo, were outstanding. They are friendly, warm and helpful. They went out of their way to make sure that every passenger was comfortable and well looked after. For instance, we wished to see a landmark in Lucerne which was not on the guided walk. They went out of their way to point us towards the site and made sure we could see it as well. Similarly, they suggested that we join the tour to Mount Titlis, and how to buy the additional ticket. It was excellent advice, and we are glad we did as they advised, making the tour completely unforgettable They had plenty of friendly advice and tips for all passengers. Madeline kept up a lively bilingual commentary in English and Spanish, ensuring we learned a lot about the country, the region and its history. The coach was clean and well cared for, driven very ably by our driver, Antonio
Time in Lucerne is limited, lunch is not possible here. The mountain is awesome and worth the trip..
We were hoping the organized tour would save us time and transfer over train transfers on our own, but traveling with a large group just slowed us down. They were pretty unorganized, handing out tickets to 60+ people took an unnecessarily long time and then we were too late to even do many of the activities on the top of the mountain. We were 1.5 hours late arriving back to Zurich due to weather which I am sure we would not have had on the train. Travel intel was repetitive. The locations were amazing. Lucern, Mt. Titlas were fantastic and worth the travel but I would sort out the trip on my own if I had to do it again.
This is a very good experience, want to come again, moreover that our tour guide Ms Yolga was so excellent in explaining and helping to all of us
Andes and Walter were very attentive, excellent guides, and the tour is fabulous
The guides Andrea and Walter were amazing, they cared about all the people and give value information
Our guide Jean was excellent. His english was very understandable and he was very patient. Well organozed trip.
Very good organization, punctual, the bus was comfortable, Lucerne is a very beautiful city with ancient buildings; it is a place to explore with more time than scheduled. The journey through the countryside was very beautiful, resembling postcards, and Titlis was an experience of the imposing mountain and valley views; we were very lucky to have an excellent day.
well thought out trip and excellent knowledgeable and friendly tour guide. Will definitely recommend to friends who are ok with a jam-packed 10-hour tour
