My wife and I often choose a guide to introduce us to a new city when we are on vacation. In Lucerne we were fortunate to have a tour group of only five with Timon as our guide. Obviously Timon had done his homework ahead of time. He knew each of our names and during the time together made it a point to visit with us individually to learn more about each one of us. During the tour there was no question he could not answer. He always responded in a way that was enlightening, sometimes entertaining, and usually ending with something like, "Does that answer your question?" Timon's sensitivity to each individual, his sense of humor, and his willingness to go at the group's pace was impressive. We assume there is an assortment of decent tour guides for Lucerne, but in our judgement--none could be better than Timon. D & F
I'm blown away by your review and I thank you so much for taking the time to write it. It was a pleasure to get to know you. Until next time in Lucerne! Timon
5 friends went on the Mt Rigi day trip with Timon, who is a local and so knowledgeable. We didn’t not have the best weather- rain and clouds and no views from the top. But Timon did such a fantastic job giving us history of the region. The boat ride on Lake Luzern was spectacular ! Timon was generous with his time that we went over the 3pm end point t to see some additional sights in the city.
Thank you so much Bradley. I was so impressed by your optimistic point of view. You were all very kind and generous. Hope to see you again soon.
